Yes, there was a “bug” where the cache name was sometimes not being highlighted in red after a vote was cast. Miata let me know about this and it was fixed a week or two ago.I can tell you that you won’t be able to vote for COTM/COTY twice in the future, will have information on which cache you voted for, and have the capability to delete your vote and vote for a different cache.
What the heck are you doing up and posting at 1:06 AM???? Sheesh!

Accuracy is important as well as a good hint. But, the most important thought is the placement of the hide. Bring geocachers to a place you wish to share. A place with a view, a place with history, a place for one to stop and resore the soul.
Two reasons for the slow down on my part: The price of deisel fuel and the journey wasn’t worth the effort.
For a time, I was just out for the numbers. Yeah, I admit it. I needed to get to 1000. Which almost matched my fuel bill for the truck.
I had placed numbers ahead of the real reasons for my gecaching: New vistas and exercise. I found that I can exercise by walking around town and visiting with friends. I am only a few steps away from Pike Lake State Park. This park provides vistas.
I also took up bicycling to geocaches. This, alone cuts down on the distances one travels. When I look at the geocache pages I look for places with vistas. I also try and find places that leave one with a sense of wonder which a geocacher qishes to share.

…Posting a cache that hasn’t been approved yet, is sort of like announcing your pregnant because you are about to get lucky
A pregnant woman from Washington, D.C. gets in a car accident and falls into a deep coma. Asleep for nearly six months, when she wakes up she sees that she is no longer pregnant and frantically asks the doctor about her baby. The doctor replies, “Ma’am you had twins! A boy and a girl. Your brother from Maryland came in and named them.”
The woman thinks to herself, “No, not my brother… he’s an idiot!”She asks the doctor, “Well, what’s the girl’s name?”
“Denise.”
“Wow, that’s not a bad name, I like it! What’s the boy’s name?”
“Denephew. “
I hope that this isn’t off topic (*wink*) Oh, this is not an official post of any one that’s is official or anyone that wishes to be official. (*wink*)

Now, a question for all you experienced Garmin users. Can anyone explain the advantage of the 76 over the 60, other than a bit more memory? They seem to have the same features and the 60 is lighter and slightly smaller, so what are you getting for the extra $50? I’m currently using a little Garmin Etrex Yellow, so either of these would be quite a bit bigger, but I suspect that between the new technology and a better internal antenna, they would get significantly better reception in heavy cover.
