    Have you looked on http://atlasquest.com.

At the front of the log book there should be some info, either name of the hitchhiker or an addy for contacting the owner. Usually inside cover or fist page.
    Hth,
    TE

The cover had HH Too-Lips (the stamp is a tulip) with a name of the placer, but no address, other than a city in Ohio. The placer name is listed on the letterboxing site, but no record of the hh. I will look on atlasquest too.

    Thanks for the info.

It looks like there are a few letterboxes here in town and this finder picked it up from there and for some reason picked our cache to drop it. I’m not up for tracking down letterboxes in cemeteries right now. I just joined the lb site and there’s no record of the hitch hiker, but the cacher that left it visited the cemetery that is logged as the last lb.

Maybe I should contact her to see if she wants another chance to put it someplace else not gc related.

ok, found the answer to part of it… it’s a hitch hiker (letterboxing traveller). It’s not logged on the site though. so now what do I do with it?

TRY THIS: http://www.vision3d.com/methd02.html and notice the last word in the instructions: “COOL!” Good Luck!

alrighty, this one lost me at step 1 when it told me to “Prepare to assume a slightly contorted position.”

i fell off my chair laughing and now am seeing circling colorful stars 😯

We have crossed paths with Bobcats a few times. They just run off as fast as they can.
One wolf we have crossed paths with hackled up and stared at us, then ran off before I got the camera out. Two others at another place just ran off. Although there have been a few people in our area that have had their dogs attacked or killed by wolves.

We have run into bear more times than we can count. Their usual behavior is to run a short distance, turn and look at you and then high tail it away.

Now Sandhill Cranes that is another story. They will sneak up on you and run at you and scare the living daylights out of you. One pair took to the air and kept circling above us.

We just make a lot of noise and have not had any problems.

    now she tells me…. 😯

I was gonna pack the ankle bells and pepper spray, but that other cache page is throwing me off. Guess I’ll have RT4 bring his pot (I mean drum).

This is a great conversation and reminder to me as we head up to the Eagle River/St.Germain area next month. I remember locating ET’s Cache last yr and it was eerily quiet (AND BUGGY) as we hiked to gz from the road. No one knew where we were and I kept scanning the area for creatures that might want to “share the land” with us. My kids love that kind of stuff; I just need to make sure we are smart about it when we are in their territory. I’m pretty sure we had the noise level covered…. and if you’ve met RT4, you’ll understand completely 😉

The name Levi came to me for a boy as I was attempting to exercise (although I was listening to LIncoln Brewster and that’s his son’s name..hmm)

I think the name Lily is spot on for a little girl.

7/27 sounds like a good guess

no attempt on the weight… docs are never right on that, how can I be??

no matter, just praying you’ll be blessed with a happy, healthy bundle and that’s all that truly matters!

OK what gives? 3 of the last 4 finders of my ECs did not send answers. I gave one “dude” 2 days then just deleted his one word (“awesome”) log. He responded with an email calling me an ass. He has found three ECs (and 64 other caches) and should know the drill. I forwarded his remarks to the Frog. The second one not sending me answers this week has only 20 finds and is a bit of a noob still (two word log and all); I sent a reminder email to that team. And yet another one….really? What is the point of putting anything on the page as they are clearly not reading it. 🙄

I’ve got two ec’s that I did today that I need to upload pics and answers for you. I promise not to call you names if you give me some slack 😉

I will have to see if Mr. RT wants to head out Sunday for Lincoln Brewster. He’s one of our favs. (and TobyMac and the Newsboys are tops on RT10 and RT4’s lists.)

Enjoy – glad to see that the sun is shining… we spent the early yrs out there in the rain many, many times!

I will only chime in as a Mom that can’t just say “Go outside and play.” My kids can’t play in our yard without a parent as I can’t see the yard from most spots in the house (and it’s all front – no fenced in back yard). We also live on a street on the outskirts of town where the speed limit changes and people use our driveway as a turnaround. They will drive right through our circle drive and wave at us….So going outside means we all go. can be good or bad depending on the chore list for Mom.

I remember my mom sending us outside and then locking the door so we didn’t do the in-out, in-out thing.

Not whining, just saying that’s the choice we’ve made here to ensure safety at this point.
