but seriously, what happened to the candy bar?
Did he get it? Did he eat it? Did one of the firefighters eat it?inquiring minds want to know…
sad thing about this is that there was a story last week about how individuals are posting youtube videos at the scenes of accidents. One of the videographers was a FIREFIGHTER who videotaped and posted a woman’s death scene with some gruesome comments. Her family was not amused. Apparently there is a real “market” for these type of postings on youtube…. which is why I need to keep our computer accessible to me when RT10 does searching on his own….who knows what will show up!!!
I tried to link up the story about the Wausau guy that took care of his business in his neighbor’s garage while naked earlier this week…. his excuse was that he thought it was HIS garage…. wondering if he does that often in his own garage 8O????
Congratulations – hoping we can catch up and meet in ER this summer on our annual trek~!
Soaking all this stuff in – Thanks a bunch! my gears are turning 😀

I just did 2 circuits for Rosendale Biology class. Don’t even mention the permanent caches or you will have tons of maintenance!
Just put out temps and list the starting coordinate. Plenty of places to hide them in that park!Good luck and have fun! 😀
Thank you for confirming my instinct on the permanents…. That park is usually crawling with all kinds of people and I’m not really up for the hassle either 😉
Scouting has a badge now when they become Boy Scouts, so I may point them in that direction for information. There is even a booklet from the BSA.
I’m using Safari (Mac) so I don’t think it’s a browser issue. Haven’t tried in Firefox and we don’t have IE.

Actually, I have a similar question. I hope you don’t mind if I hijack your thread goirish75. I am placing a cache and it won’t have any puzzle to solve and it will be at the posted coordinates. The cache will have a lock on it though and so finders will have to unlock it with a combination that will be on the cache page. Do I list this as a traditional? Or as a mystery?
we had one of those here in Oshkosh that was listed as a traditional, but felt like a mystery – until you cracked the code. (muggles took care of the combination permanently recently with a crowbar 🙁 )
It depends – If you state the combination is 1234 then I’d say it’s a traditional. If you need to figure out the combination, then I’d call it a puzzle.
In my opinion, the Oshkosh version 1n Your Face #3 [:D] was a puzzle. I also think this one had odd (D/T) ratings but we won’t go there in this thread.
I agree with this logic, but wonder if the reviewers decided it was traditional. Not likely, but I think it shows that it could go either way.

I think Sweetlife could answer that.

Had I known, I could have surely baked a cake for the celebration for the weekend 🙂
Congratulations from the whole RT clan!!!
Well I found out that Mr. S will keep my husband and 10 yr old happy with fishing, but they can’t take a 4 yr old along so I got to keep him happy… really need to have him chat with the KFH littles to give him some pointers on patience and geocaching….

The flipside of a poorly written “Found It” is the following:
http://coord.info/GL5NHT3QMy daughter and I went to this park today and loved it. It was fun walking around the ruins and taking photos and then there was a really awesome playground with lots of “old skool” equipment 🙂 (metal and wooden stuff that you only saw back in the 70’s and 80’s). We didn’t even bother looking for the actual cache because I’ve learned it is really hard to concentrate on finding one with a three year old constantly yelling, “MOMMY MOMMY, LOOK AT ME!!!” but we enjoyed this cache very much anyway.
I know the rules say you’re supposed to sign the log to call it found, but given the circumstance I‘d be tempted to have them claim it as found. I’ve cached with my girls and can certainly empathize with the situation. Here is a classic case of someone “getting it”, but not finding it.
If that’s the case, I could claim a whole lot more :D…. might need to look up this cacher and see if my 4 yr old can entertain her 3 yr old so we can get some caching done….sheesh….

Yahoo’s header is promoting something today with a change… 2x faster blah, blah, blah…I saw there was a beta version of mail being promoted for the last few weeks, today must be the day.
I’m sure Brian (TBC) will be thrilled with the changes.
