too early in the morning for what I think I wanted to say….
challenges don’t bother me… just a matter of play or not play. to each his/her own.

We have a few thousand of those, but nowadays you buy models and they put them together and they stay together. Son #2 is big into vehicles…dump trucks, wagon beetles (his word for them), hummers, and anything with wheels…
oh and for those camping this weekend if we make it… he likes to pound on his tinker toy can like a drum and sing at the top of his lungs….

Don’t sweat it. Nobody else thinks anything of it, and I mean that in a positive way. Or if really bugs you just delete your own OM log!

so now I’ve gone back in to look at my logs and the NM log is gone completely. The cacher must have deleted it? So now my lonely PM looks like I’m the idiot for doing so…. ugh. live and learn…..
I appreciate the feedback on this as I was hoping that I hadn’t overreacted when the NM came in the inbox. Because we only have 1 cache right now, it’s not a big deal, but I can see if you had several how this could be a colossal pain in the behind. I had hoped that I wasn’t being “snippy” by sending an email to the cachers involved. We had the ability to check the cache physically yesterday… that will not always be the case.
and I wasn’t worried about demerits as much as I know that a NM on a log means a reviewer tracks how long you take to review the item. seems like extra work for all involved when it’s really a dnf. I tried to let the couple know that NM should be used when they see a string of DNF’s or they find the container wrecked.

Camping should not be a problem for anyone that wants to. Thus far, it looks like we are below 25 campsites needed which is the number in the one open loop. The Rangers have extended an offer to open the outer loop of sites if necessary raising the site number to 41.
Thanks, I was reading back thru, but wasn’t sure of the updated info. It’s a long shot for us anyway, but if we are going to buy one, I can see my husband wanting to try it out.
