Moving out of the Racine Area? NOOOOOOOOO!
Oh who am I kidding? I’m a year or 2 of hard caching away from finding the final anyways. Actually it might be kind of a blessing. It’ll get that cache of my nearest to home. 😉
Actually, I got #1200, #1300, AND my 100th Mystery Find, but hey who’s coutin. 😉
But seriously, we will never do that again and we all felt like we were going to die by the end.
If I had a canoe…I’d love to try to make it. I’ll be up in your neck of the woods that prior Saturday. Making a (slight) detour wouldn’t be unreasonable.
Just when you think you’re making headway on some IN state challenges….
Sheesh! 🙄
I’ve looked at that one too. I’d love to try it (along with many other river/lake caches) but I lack the equipment. 😥

tom k. and I visited that cache back in January on the exact day that you had decided not to risk the climb. That one is WAY up there and definitely worth the milestone. Congrats!

This is the first year I’ve seen ticks like this. Then again maybe it’s because I’m in the middle of tick land now.
As a proud graduate of UW-Stout, I would say I’ve been to places with MANY more ticks than Menomonie. I would say….spend less time at The Buck and you’ll have less ticks. 😆
I could probably find a spot where it WOULD be genuine if I wanted to. 😈
Dad always said, “Fair? A fair is what you go to in the summertime. Now quit whining and get your $@%@ out there.”
Working in public education, sometimes I feel like there’s too much “fair” in today’s society. If a kid tells me its not fair….well….take your ball and go home I guess.
Just my 2 cents.

Liked the parallel world thing, too, but if we were really in another parallel world when we were out caching, we wouldn’t have to worry about muggles. They wouldn’t see us in their world, would they?
Ahhh, but sometimes they DON’T see you. Everytime you’re just white-noise while out caching in public, you’re actually in a parallel world.

H20-proof matchstick containers can always be found at Wally World.
Unless the local cachers beat you to the chase and buy out the whole stock!
GC13NV8
GC1AFYV
GC1D0Q3
GC5249All in the Alma, WI area.
I don’t know how they could go MUCH faster…we did have a 54 cache day in there. 😀
