You keep spare caching containers in your car, just in case you find a good spot to drop one.

You know you’re addicted when you drive down the street saying “there’s a cache over there, there’s a cache over there, there’s a cache over there” as you point out previous finds.

    And
You keep a whole head-to-toe spare set of clothing in the car, “Just in case”.
Just in case something unintended happens while you are out caching
    OR
Just in case you have to grab a cache on a non-caching trip, if such a trip exists anymore.

You keep spare clothes in both cars, but no tools or jumper cables.
    🙁

We too wondered about the people who grab an extremely high number of finds in a day and we have come to this conclusion:

Everyone gets something different out of geocaching.

If they want to grab only earthcaches, go for it and have fun.
If they want to grab only puzzles, go for it and have fun.
If they wan to grab 1000 park-n-grabs on a marathon run, go for it and have fun.

As long as they don’t expect everyone else to do it their way, they should go for it and have fun

We like to grab a variety of caches in smaller quantities and we have fun.

So, just as long as their 1000 P&G fun doesn’t interfere with our fun, they should go for it and have fun (as it is defined in their geocaching circle, we might define it differently).

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then holy cow you guys have taken several novels worth.

Glad we could be along for some of your finds.

I remember the first time I cached with you, and you were amazed at some of the sneaky little tricks that some cachers use to hide their containers. On one cache John said, “we wold never have found that alone”.

Well, you have found quite a few more caches since then and know a lot more tricks now!

    Congratulations on 3000 finds!

Whenever we go on a cache run on this side of the state, it seems that we always end up grabbing at least one J&L hide. Thanks for all that you contribute to this sport. Great milestone too Jim and Linda.

I have had the distinct pleasure of caching with this team on numerous occasions. Every member of the team is a formidable cacher in their own right. They picked a wonderful cache for a milestone.

    Good job Hit Squad!

    See you on the trail.

    Sloughfoot,
I ran into your grand daughter at work yesterday and she told me you nabbed your 4000th find. Sounds like the covert cache is a good time.

    Nice job on the milestone.

Nice milestone LabRat. It seems like only 100 caches ago you were at 2500. CongRATulations on the tough milestone. Must have felt good getting this one done.

Congratulations on the triple milestone guys. Is that a combined 6.3K milestone? And another tri-FTF to boot.

I don’t know the specifics (lumens/wattage etc.) but all I can say is that fellow cachers invite me along for night caching because of my flashlight. That speaks for itself.

    Separates into 3 independent flashlights
    Combines into one powerful flashlight
Each independent flashlight generates 20 lumens of light
Three 120 degree multi-directional rotating heads
    Shatter resistant lens
ON/OFF switch turns all flashlights on or off when placed inside the tripod base
    One-touch tripod release button
    Uses 6 AA batteries

Bulbs: Three 0.5W LEDs last 100,000 hrs

What a great milestone and a neat cache to get it on. It looks like you are well on your way to finishing the multi-state traveler challege cache too. Congratulations!
