Wow! Such a heartwarming response from so many old and new friends! The list of Sagasu adoption offers has shrunk amazingly in just over a week. Only a handful remain:
Calling Sheboygan and New London:

Miata’s Moonlit Mystery (GC12GT9)Warm congrats on the 1.7K Roger, Marie, and Aida! You sure have been making dust trails lately! 😯 I am almost envious but thrilled to see how you have caught fire. Well done, and on to the next weekly milestone and 2K! 8)
We are very grateful to the cachers who have adopted some of our creations and will keep them in play, whether as they are or infused with some new creativity. Several local Fox Valley caches, and a few from some more distant locations, will remain available for adoption while they stay in play, including:

Earth Angel Special (GC1A09W)Thanks again to those who have stepped forward to take some of our “kids” so far. All of them are people we hold in high regard! We will still have nearly forty caches to keep in great shape, but the lighter load will make it easier to do so while we look forward to getting out on the trail for some of the new hides that have been popping up all around us! 🙂
O.K. I’m in for a 2.5% Pete. I’ve been upgrading my micros for a couple years now, and I really want one of those lampskirt ones. Stealth paint come with that too? 😉
While FTFs don’t mean much to me (too much competition) 😯 , I was wondering last month when I got one how your count was coming. No worrys, I would soon find out. Awesome number, Ralph! Look forward to seeing you again but I won’t move into your neighborhood! 😉
Warm congrats on the half a K, and a fine choice of a milestone find. I do remember my GPS giving me fits there as my brother-in-law chimed in asking me where I was going! 😯 Well done! Look forward to meeting you on the trail! 😀
Congrats on the 5K, Bob! Wow, you are in full stride. Well done!
Same for me out on the trail. The great outdoors and all of the sounds of life, even just the wind whistling through the pines (or sometimes cattails in my case 😉 ), are all part of the special experience of being out there. Late yesterday it was owls hooting, one of them very close by, at a new higher terrain local park hide, last week it was the sounds of migrating cedar waxwings and other species returning to and beyond our area, early last month the “spring is here” serenade of red wing blackbirds and the raucous call of Sandhill Cranes returning to one of our favorite stomping grounds on the Wiouwash Trail that is a traditional first week in March sojourn for our family to the great marshland along the trail, and, for us and those like T&B and others, the distinctive pounding of a pileated woodpecker, similar but uniquely deeper than other woodpeckers, followed by an uncommon close sighting of that awesome bird a while back in late winter while doing some new caches up at Bubolz Nature Center in Appleton. Some of the special serene joys of caching.
Congrats on the 2K, Jeremy!
Warm congrats on the big 2K, Robb and Sue! Fun choice of a milestone; I enjoyed getting the solve for it but still have the find to look forward to. The 2000 Kudos tribute offers a great glimpse of your cache find choices, a wonderful assortment of good ones sprinkled all over the country. Great memories I’m sure! Well done, good friends! 😀
Congrats on the 1.5K David! 8)
That’s a lot of finds. Well done on the 4,000! 8)
Thanks much, Ed! The pine cousin is on the way to you. Another cache that was upgraded from a micro to a larger container over time after I replaced the original micro hide by Team Ridge Runners over two years ago. I know it will be in good hands, and now I can soon log it myself. Shouldn’t be too hard to find unless you get creative real soon! 😯
Thank you Ben! I’ll be in touch in a private message.
Just to clarify for all watching, we are only paring back on some of our cache ownership demands so we can still have time to enjoy caching ourselves and take care of other priorities as well. While the issues related to puzzle caches have saddened us very much, including my son and wife, who have a more objective perspective more like other obsevers, most of ours haven’t been as directly affected. It has been a very troubling time for us and many others to hear about. We can’t imagine why some insist so much that all caches should or need to be done at any cost when there are so many. Some of what we have heard has changed the game for us forever.
Jstajlr has stepped forward for our “Across The Creek” cache. Congrats and thank-you!
