Congrats on the Big K Ed! That’s one cache I don’t think I’ll ever find unless I stumble across that container. Hmmm…. maybe it’s big enough for me to locate using google maps. 8) Well done on the find and the log. Congrats again!

Congrats on the 1100 BigJim! Really enjoyed some of your caches last month and hope to get back for some more of them in the coming weeks! 😉

I saw the hit on another nearby cache but didn’t know about the milestone (at least till I looked at the nearby caches too). 😉

    Congratulations!!

    😆

    Congrats on the 2.5K! 8)

Nice find Gwyn! Perhaps we can incorporate this into WGA education efforts and sharing for new cachers, or even more seasoned ones. Maybe parts of this could be useful for something like information releases to help various media and law enforcement agencies have a better understand of geocaching. Just some thoughts for consideration by our WGA. 💡

Congarats on the memorable milestone, Dave! Great choice. I’ve been looking at that one for two years and just haven’t had the right timing. Your log was great. Helps me look at that one with renewed interest and awareness! 😉 Congrats again!

Congrats on #1800 Rich and Sue! Definitely looks like it was a challenging milestone choice from looking at the logs. Well done! 8)

in reply to: One year, or one year and a day? #1939214

I argued for that as well when told more than a year was 367 days instead of 365 plus one. That’s what I thought when it first came up for me to consider. I second that motion.

Congrats on the .5K and continuing your fun style. I remember that hide! Dan and I were there together while the cars whizzed by. It’s given more than one searcher fits in the past. Congrats again!

Warm congrats on the 3K, John and Gail! And your log, what a hoot! Think of you two often; hope for a trip upriver come spring. 8)

Hearty congrats again, Jim! 8) On to 3K for you, and for me another slight adjustment in the old rear view mirror! Gosh, that’s getting to be habit forming…. Honk before you pass. 😉

I agree with zuma. A photo is good, or dimensions, or, if you want to make it a bit more challenging to fill that county, a question about some aspect of the history of that location. 😉

And now seeing T&B’s observations that appeared as I typed, if there is some perspective found that is relevant to the nation that can be researched, that might make the find even more meaningful.

Variety is the spice of life. 😉 Congrats on your fourth trip through that grid. I, too, am still working on some of the first trip while chasing other variety. Well done again, Gwyn and Dick! 8)

in reply to: Walkingadventure is seeing STARS! 2500 of ’em #1938827

Absolutely, Pete. I just got caught up on reading both logs and looking for the Walkingadventure thread, when this first popped up.

Hearty congrats to Walkingadventure for number 2500 in a visit to Beneath The (well, Cloudy this time) Sky with good friends. Wish I could have chased the clouds away for you all. Come back or bring someone else along another time on a crystal clear night before mosquito season. There’s fireflies to keep you guessing in the late spring. 😉

Again, congratulations Chris, on the 2.5K and the great year you are having with your caching! Thanks, as well, for some of the very best and creative new hides around our neck of the woods. 8)

in reply to: Lacknothing Ogles 3K Beneath A Cloudy Sky! #1938755

Delighted to see all of you finally be able to run that night course. And yes, please consider returning on a clear, balmy, spring night before bugs, to take in the night sky and the the course lit up like a candlelight parade before many leaves have formed. 8)

Warm congratulations to Lacknothing for the big 3K, and to Walkingadventure for hitting 2.5K, both teams coming on fire this year. Honored to have you choose this family-friendly night-cache for your milestones!
