I have been working on taxes.  Shoveling craphas is sounding pretty good right about now… 😕

That beachball/shark thing was ridiculous for a football game.  Most of the other stuff was silly, too.  I liked last year’s halftime show a lot better.  (I am feeling verrrrrry old… 🙁 )

We didn’t even open the doors to the outside at all today, not even to drop something in the garbage.  Some of the neighbors have done some craphas-clearing, but it was still blowing around out there as it got dark, so we’ll see what awaits us in the morning.

When I went to check on which virtuals we had found in Wisconsin, I was surprised that we hadn’t marked any as our favorites.  We always seek out virtuals in our travels around the state, and some we have enjoyed, but many are really quite… lame.  Some are also kind of confusing as to what the seeker is supposed to do to get credit.  I think some people give them favorite points because they are old and might disappear, and also because no new ones are being placed, but the virtuals on our favorites list are all from our travels elsewhere.

Our first three cache finds ever were traditionals, but the next four were virtuals, thanks to The Lil Otter seeking out neat things to show us in our part of the state.  We still have quite a few to find in Wisconsin, but we just happened to have revisited the site of one virtual four days ago, the man-made waterfalls right in downtown Montello on Highways 22 and 23, “Don’t Get Wet!” (GC8BAF)  Here is a photo I took there:

That EC looks cool, Noonan!  Glad you got it published.  We might be going that way in another year or two, so we’ll check it out if we get there.

We use Geochecker, with no sign-up or log-in required, so I think we’re OK.  As for your puzzle finals, HCH, most of those locations are so far from civilization or so nasty to get to that anyone who got the final coords from this hack will pay for their attempts to shortcut the fun of your puzzle caches.  “What were you thinking???” 😯 😯 😯 😉

We were contemplating a return to the wild side today (the original WS near WR, not the one in the Valley), but Mr. S is ailing, so no caching and no mint chip FOTD in Wautoma for me today.  🙁

Instead I will be sitting at home waiting for the craphas to fall unless it is a hoax like last week’s was.  😕
