This will work:

What do all those little numbers mean? (Couldn’t resist.)
Have fun, all, and stay safe!
I know there’s a limit for a log and for the short description, but not sure about for a write-up itself. I’ve written some lengthy ones, and none have come back needing to be shortened. However, the longer they are, the greater the chance the individual paperless caching units may cut off the end of the description, so put the “meat” of your cache page early in the description.

Interesting cache container there, HCH. Nice camo job. Can we pick up some of these from the Barn? 😉

WHAT? I am in Indonesia. You can’t do this on the 26th. I won’t be home yet. Can’t you guys wait until I am back in the country. I was thinking one of these two caches for 10,000.
Expedition Part Deux for the milestone event.

I think that it is trying to place me at the nearest road/address to the coords.
42.72237 -89.45267 does not change it. It is the address to a house that is just to the north. When I start to slowly adjust the north coord to be a little farther south, it then jumps to Reubens Cave Drive, which is also too far east.
Strange that I see the JKK&KIDS has his in the middle of the lake. LOL!!
Wayne, it’s just a map. Go with the flow and give us something in the neighborhood. Then write on your name blurb that you live in a cave. 😉

Making a trip south with WPs in Champaign, Memphis, Birmingham, Pensacola, Atlanta, Gatlinburg and Nashville. Anyone have any favorites?
We haven’t been in Champaign for a couple of years, but that’s where my BIL lives, so we have had occasion to cache in the area. As you continue towards Memphis, go south a bit of Champaign on I-57 to Arcola to find “Hippie Memorial Cache” (GC5DE8). The location is really groovy. 😉
We “live” at city hall!

Is there a chance I’ll perish on this adventure???
Wanted: One co-host for the LCG event.
Wanted: One social media director for the WGA.😉

SL…the terrain is fairly level on The Expedition. There are a few areas of cattails and a river crossing, which should be frozen (famous last words). The 1+ mile in, then back, is up to you. How is Mr. SL’s knee?
The knee is fine, but Mr. S doesn’t care for caching in the cold. As for me… I don’t like to get my feet wet, especially in the winter. I did not like what I saw on previous logs, especially for “Wet Maze”. We will probably wimp out…again. 🙄
But Saturday is still a long way off.
At first I thought… “I have looked at all sorts of maps!”, but then I spotted the words in the upper left corner of the map that gave the state and the county. Whew! Thanks, Deejay!
BTW, when we visited the no-longer-there virtual at Four Corners out west, we were curious as to how that cache would show up statewise. Saw after we wrote the log that it was in Arizona.
What’s the wimp level here?
Someone who knows me, please respond: Thumbs up or thumbs down for us on these?
(Maybe Linda could use some help with the hot chocolate instead.)Owners of virtuals and EarthCaches are responsible for maintaining the integrity of their caches by monitoring and deleting any bogus finds (heard of armchair logging on virts? 😉 ) The CO of this cache wasn’t even in the game long enough to validate his/her account.
The good news here is that there is another cache now in place that brings cachers to this meaningful spot: GC43GKR It’s not a virtual, so forget that icon, but for those who remember spending quite a bit of time searching for the answer to the question posed in the virtual, you will be glad to know that this new puzzle cache provides a “road map” of where to find the necessary answers.
Oh, yeah. And the COs of the new cache are very active and still involved in the game. 😉
