Use the map instead of the list. You know where you were caching, so unless you were in an area with quite a few caches on the Lonely list, with a few clicks, you should be able to check out those on the map to see if you found or DNFed any. If you want to make a point of looking for Lonelies, check the map before you visit an area to see what caches are on the current list.

You can also look on the right of the cache page of every cache you write a log for to see if one of the bookmarks listed is the current LCG list (month and year). That would mean that cache is one for which you could submit your visit for points. These bookmarks are usually done along with each new list.
