Hippies were just at Zion a few weeks ago doing the half-marathon. They did some caches, too.
Check out Bill and Jim’s excellent adventure in the Milestones forum. ๐
Did you rub Lincolnโs nose?
From August of 2007:

Somewhere I have a photo of some classmates with Abe from our senior class trip to Springfield…. way back when…. during the latter half of the last century.
Did you look on page 636 or were you still on page 635?
636… palindrome page!

You know where you were caching, so unless you were in an area with quite a few caches on the Lonely list, with a few clicks, you should be able to check out those on the map to see if you found or DNFed any. If you want to make a point of looking for Lonelies, check the map before you visit an area to see what caches are on the current list.
You can also look on the right of the cache page of every cache you write a log for to see if one of the bookmarks listed is the current LCG list (month and year). That would mean that cache is one for which you could submit your visit for points. These bookmarks are usually done along with each new list.
TAX DAY
This year that would be April 18… Monday. Three more days to procrastinate.
Solved 3 Sandlandersโ puzzles today.
I know I havenโt done much caching lately when I read this and the first thing that comes to mind are the jigsaw planet puzzles.
๐
Haven’t made too many jigsaw puzzles lately, although I’ve taken a few photos of some twisted limbs with that thought in mind…
BigJim, if you find yourself nearby today, feel free to stop in to say “hi”.
You can pick up a rake while you’re here, too, since we’ll probably be out working in the yard and would welcome the help. ๐Iโm glad we donโt get faux tornados over here in East Sandland.
Where do you think we send all of ours?
(BTW, that faux warning came right when the final round on Wheel of Fortune was happening. Mr. S was not amused…)
Getting ready for the second faux tornado warning of the day. Thirteen minutes to go.
Nicely played FTP, amita. Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the warning!
Still some snow piled by The Wheelhouse, but a sign said that Scoopers would be open on April 23. Yippee!

You may be older now, but you’ve still got it, J&L!
:like:J&L must be sleeping in on his birthday. Guess he’ll have to settle for the FTP on page 633 if it gets that far instead of FTP for Tuesday.
HB, J&L!
The same thing that is special tomorrow for J&L and for you on April 27, Mr. GT! ๐
