I think this is a great accomplishment and should win some kind of award.
Shhhhhh! HP2 hasn’t figured out yet that there’s no award for finishing first. 😛
What? You haven’t received your fabulous prize for 2009 yet? 😯 😉
But a job well done to huffinpuffin2. Surely there aren’t too many lonelies left for them in February…
Nicely done, you two. Nice to see sibs who get along so well. 😉 And glad that Roosevelt could be along for the double milestone!
Actually, I think it’s in the WGA by-laws that anyone elected to the BOD has to change his/her name to Brian, if not so blessed already. 🙄 😉

Could you please post this as a PDF file? We don’t have Microsoft Office on our computer, and we have never been able to open documents like these. Thank you.
I’ve added the file to Zuma’s original post.
Very helpful. Thanks!
Got it, Pete. Thanks.
Interesting to see that the final Challenge cache is proposed to be at Hartman Creek State Park.
Not many cache placements there, but not for lack of trying.Could you please post this as a PDF file? We don’t have Microsoft Office on our computer, and we have never been able to open documents like these. Thank you.
You vote for whomever you think will do a good job on the Board and for the WGA, up to the max. If that’s only one person, vote for one. If there are five candidates you like, vote for five… or anywhere in between. If you feel very strongly about one or two candidates, and you are lukewarm or don’t really know the others, vote for only the one or two. There’s no rule that says you have to vote for the maximum number just because you are allowed to.
No need to weight any votes. The BOD election is a straightforward election for positions, nothing fancy. This resembles our school board elections. If there are five people running for three positions, but I think three or four of the candidates would do a terrible job, I only vote for the one or two I think would do a good job in the position.
If there is a ballot with many different offices on it, and a race is uncontested and I don’t care for the candidate, I will probably leave that race unmarked. Some voters don’t care about many of the races and only vote on one or two races on the ballot.
I think the voting should remain as is; there do not appear to be any problems with the set-up. Voters need to educate themselves on the issues, the candidates, and, as you have mentioned, the consequences of how they may vote.
Looks official. You’re Scrappy Scout here now. Congrats on the new name!

I thought there was a new WSQ in Rapids this month?
Two: GC22N6D and GC22V8B (a puzzle)
But there were tons in our area put out last month, including three by us and who knows how many in the area by geolivestrong (very much appreciated).
And sometimes there just aren’t any more cacheless cemeteries! 😉

Sorry! Just had too!You are forgiven, Cheezehead.
But back on topic…
Just had some wind howling around the corner of the house. Talking wind chills again. But the sun’s starting to break through a bit now. Wonder if it gets really cold if we’ll be able to walk on top of all the snow after all that rain.We don’t trust ANY rodents!

I don’t have a name suggestion, but changing your name on GC.com couldn’t be easier. Check to make sure the name you want does not exist by using the “Find another user” link. When you get a name, send a message to “[email protected]” requesting the change.
Don’t know how long this takes or how easy it is. Good luck, Scrappy Scout!

… or 17 days after jerrys dad’s new baby will be born.
You do the math.
For the WGA, look at the left menu, go to Your Account, then in there, under Basic Information, the first item (username) tells how to make the name change (needs to go through admins).
Did you get the name change on geocaching.com already?
Sounds like “Number Watchers with too much on their minds”…
But driving home from my dad’s tonight, the odometer on the car was approaching 45,678.9. Think we’re about five miles short, so we’re taking a brief spin in that car tomorrow just to see the numbers line up.
(Cue the “Loser” music…)
