So now it is ‘brokerer’??????? 🙄 It certainly is frustrating to try to work with, especially today while out in the field – under the snow – looking for a key bit of information we forgot to jot down or load in before-hand….well, on the bright side, be now know who to thank: Thank You for the confession! 8)

Well, it was fixed in less than five minutes, so I’ll claim the credit for that, too. 😉 But I wasn’t responsible for anything that went wrong during the day yesterday, so someone else needs to confess!

HI, sag314! we see you’re from Brown Deer, so you’re in the right spot to learn all about geocaching and to find lots of caches. There are always Geocaching 101 type events in the Milwaukee area to help you get down the basics, and there are plenty of area cachers to join up with to go out caching together. There are even a couple of events coming up this month to attend.

And what you can’t find out on your own or in the field, just visit here in the forums and ask away. There are no dumb questions, just some dumb*** answers once in a while. 🙄

                  Welcome to the fun!

Is there anyway we could make this an event?

Can’t make an event out of only searching for a cache. You could make some kind of event at the place where everyone is staying or at some restaurant, etc., or even for the “cookout”, and anyone who came to that could log the event. Then only the ones who went out on the hike would log the actual cache find.

How does that quick sand look in the winter? Is it open? Or frozen over? Or dormant?

                      Just wondering if anyone noticed…

Take a peak, Labrat, when you put the clue in the container! 😉

Didn’t get to see it this trip as the parking area was not plowed (go figure) and the crew attacked from an unfamiliar angle.

I was wondering, too, since no one mentioned it in their logs for this one. Surprised their “guide” didn’t put that on the “must see” items for this cache.

Oh, and when Labrat puts the clue in the container for WS#2? That was on the cache page page when we found this one in July, so don’t hold your breath. 😉

Add our congratulations to the list, CodeJunkie! The problem with finding so many, though, is that you tend to limit yourself to revisits on the nearby ones on the next go-round.

But we’ll just have to see the new list when it comes out shortly. 😈

Oh, and if you want to enjoy the outdoors without all the snow and cold, you can watch a replay of the National Parks series on PBS all day today.
