Looks like we’ll have quite a gang. Maybe we can menace little old ladies in the street 😉
I think we would be much better received if we strolled along the sidewalks entertaining everyone with Christmas caroling, in keeping with the spirit of the holiday. But we would need a song leader . . . Pete?

If you make the big event today we’ll knock this one off for you as well. I know where I found it which is where it’s supposed to be and weathernowcast just checked on it a few days ago when he was in town.
Yep, we’ll be there, but the CO already emailed us, so we’ve narrowed our search area. Got one in Forsyth Park to take care of, too.
Ah, the old soap bubbles on the screen effect . . .
It’s your eyes, Marc. You’re just seeing spots.

So are you guys going to stick close to home for a bit now? 😉
Congrats on the double milestone, Splash!
Congrats on the 1000 finds, huffinpuffin2! Looking forward to seeing your hunts expand west, and if you get some new hides in place, we’ll be checking those out, too.
Certainly tempted by this. Got excited when I saw another tour of Berlin as a cache (did the other one but whiffed on the final for a DNF), but then saw it was Wherigo with us lacking in the necessary equipment. 🙁 Would love to see how this all works, so we’ll keep an eye on the weather and our social calendar.
And just a day short of your three-year caching anniversary! Neat timing! WTG on find #1000, blue35jeans! We’ve seen your name on many a log sheet in the area.
Congratulations on the 1000 finds, rcflyer2242!
Nice job, bartrod! Congrats on the 1000 finds!
I used to make tiny gingerbread men, maybe 170 of them. And they all had to be decorated. Haven’t done that in the past few years, but maybe some day I’ll resurrect them. Same with the mini star cut-outs with frosting and little balls on them.
Always have to have cathedral windows at Christmas, though–the only time I make them. Cakey base with small colored marshmallows in a chocolate mix spread on top. When cut, the edges of the top are supposed to resemble stained glass windows. Also have to do fudge, even after the year I overcooked it and it ended up rock hard.
My mom would make soft caramels, and we would help wrap the individual pieces in saran wrap. Sticky candy, sticky wrap.
Ouch! #1800 ended up being quite memorable for you! Congrats on making the find and being able to continue!
The Trail of the Serpent caches are ones that combine history and scenic spots with a nice cache hunt. We can see why you chose one of these as your most recent milestone, Dave. Congrats on #2800!
