I can count. Can you, Cheezehead?
Fall color seems early this year . . .
Sounds like a good idea. It will be a different kind of hide because the cache thief also took off with the hollow log that the container was in! Might end up having to make it a micro, too, because of cover limitations.
So maybe save the coordinate changes for hides that maybe are getting geotrails or that need more cover or that had somewhat off coords to begin with.
We have another cache that will be disabled for a bit when planned tree thinning is going on later this year. It’s a multi, and the listed coords will still be OK, but some of the waypoints will need to be altered, but those we can deal with ourselves. Just wondered on that . . . do the altered waypoints (and maybe the final) need to be resubmitted for review or to be on record? How is that done?
Congratulations, JimandLinda! Sounds like it’s been a great weekend for you, weatherwise and cachewise. Way to go on #2000!
Trying to decide if a disabled one should be archived or just replaced. The container went missing before the whole area was cut and bulldozed to make way for a new ball diamond. Coords lead you to the middle of the cleared area now, probably the pitcher’s mound when the ball field is finished. 😉
Waiting to see where this can go without having fly balls hit near it or being too close to curious bench warmers. Probably will have to be a few hundred feet away at least. Might just archive and set out a second version.
I usually write up the cache pages in a normal text document, then cut and paste and apply the html. Of course, I didn’t do that in this case 😳 , but I never thought to write up the html in the text, too. Might have to try that. Keeps me learning the html, though. Just wish more people would take the time to read through the whole cache pages to take in all the information on them.
We heard geese fly over today.
Well, over two hours later, I’m back to where I was, plus a bit farther along (plus a bit more careful, too.)
Nice to know I’m not alone. Thanks, LB7!
(or were you just saying that to be nice???)OK, I’ve recreated a lot of the cache page, except for the time-consuming stuff, but feel free to reply for my next “DOH” time. And, please, someone else reply, “Been there; done that”. 😳 😉
Well, the site isn’t down (yet), but it’s running reeeeeally slow for me today. Have been working on a cache page off and on all day, and it takes forever to go back and forth to check how things look. Reminds me of our dial-up days (less than six months ago). Holiday Sunday the culprit?
Congratulations on find #200!
It no doubt got deleted by your fat fingers. We exchanged some emails when your puzzles came out, in case you forgot. And, yes, I send PMs, but I never seem to receive any back . . . 😉
Enjoy the season!
