Make sure you sign up for the GeoPicnic this year, TDSG!
Aw, TBC, you took my weekend. I was going to say at the WGA campout, with both Zumette and Noah in attendance, and a big group find to boot. So I’ll just make a stupid bid like on “Price is Right” when someone bids just under instead of just over the bid–May 16, 2009.
You realize, of course, that the named seekers can rig this contest to have any outcome they want, so don’t say if the prize is a good one or a not-so-good one.

So that’s the name of that game we see everyone playing! But what about bringing the chips, or pretzels, or…CHEETOS?
Pulaski, I think.
Pardon for posting in the Candidates’ Corner, but I have never seen anything (other than party affiliation) indicated on any ballot to distinguish one candidate from another. They even draw names for ballot placement to eliminate bias from listing alphabetically. I strongly believe that only names and voting directions should be listed on the ballot page.
Some voters will just vote for the first five on the ballot, some may vote for only one or two, some may anguish over having to limit their choices to only five. If a person wants to vote based on a candidate’s experience, he/she should look for that information in this forum or elsewhere where incumbents are identified. When results of voting are listed, that is where you may see asterisks or incumbents identified.
“Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for his lifetime.” (or something like that).
Sometimes people are so hungry they need fish (but if they eat too many they may get sick). Some people can go fishing a long time and never catch anything (but they they may get discouraged and stop fishing).
I say, “Let’s go fishing and see what we get. If nothing bites, we can try another spot. If we get hungry, we’ll call for a pizza.”

Yep. That’s the kind of pukey orange I was looking for. Thanks, ZB.
That was just post #800 for me. How profound it was for a milestone!

Can’t you find a gaudier orange, ZB? That looks more like carrots than cheetos.
Oh, and just go ahead and make the rest of Adams County to the northeast (east of Vacationland) part of Sandland. It’s really sandy up there, too.
Back to the deep freeze again.
Think I posted this question in “Thread Stealers” way back in early ’08. Didn’t get much of an answer then. Maybe there was a contest or something was being given away free? Maybe it was a Flash Mob event in the forums. Bet we could try that to break 81.
Love the lovely lilac shade! Make it “Sandland” (easier on the maps), and make it go another 1/4″ or so north (we’re expanding).
Then between Highway 13 and Petenwell Lake in Adams County is Vacationland, and make it orange, like a cheeto color.
And this project will be graded for one of your finals, if you get it done before the semester is over.

This is my only Loney find so it qualifies for all the questions. Cheeto lleft out one thing, that was the sound of the”Hawaii 5-0″ theme ringing in my ears while riding the waves back to the boat landing.
I remember reading about that escapade when you guys found that cache. Not that we were as crazy as you were, but we had similar feellings on two caches (not Lonely at the time) we did in September, right down to the “5-0” reference: GCPEVM first, then GCW5BT
Seems like there are lots of recurring experiences in this geocaching thing…

are we able to reserve a tent site on the state park page?
http://www.reserveamerica.com/
Those are for individual sites. Spots for the WGA group site, I assume, will be available closer to the date when registration for the campout is open.
We all know that zuma never sleeps.
