Yeah, we’re wimping out on this one. 🙁 Would come just for the socializing if it were closer, but don’t relish the long drive in heavy rain. Give our printed materials to someone else, and our laminated nametags? Save ’em for next year…
Y’all have fun. Dang rain!!!! 😥 😥 😥

GC1ACTZ – Thanks! – If you want an easy puzzle to cross off the list, I would have to say this is one of the easiest. Oh and it’s mine..
-cheeto-Hey, we tried this one in April (the last time we were in your area), and we couldn’t find it (we were at the right spot), AND I got creosote on the front of my shirt that never came out. I now wear the shirt to cache in where I expect to get dirty!
Don’t forget those eight-month winters and four-month bug seasons! 😉
Welcome to the WGA and the forums, Heading North!

And I’m approaching 500 puzzles. Now that will be quite an accomplishment.
Is THAT how many you’ve put out? 😉
Congrats on all your finds!
And we’ve put out two simple (for you) puzzle caches here in The Middle of Nowhere…
The first week is over. How did it go?
We ragged on the neighbor kids on the first morning (10, 11, &13–perfect for a retired middle school teacher!–I was a bit nicer to them). Now they have homework!!!!!! 😈
Way to go, Van’s Clan! Keep ’em coming!
This is weird…and off-topic here, but I’m reading this smack-talking post and hearing the real Johnny Cash’s voice coming out, thanks to the avatar above.
Well, that weather report was all it took. Registered for the picnic AND also became premium at GC after a year. Guess we’re stuck with this geocaching thing.
Looking forward to seeing everybody on the 13th!
A lot of the nanos were put out by Lil Banditto–now archived, too.
But like zuma says, many good ones left.
Hey, no bummer, zuma! The note just says “family event” and “act accordingly”. Who’s to say how different families act at events? 😉

I agree! It caught my eye in another forum, so I’m glad to find you here. Welcome!
Hey, that’s great, Team Hemisphere Dancer!
From the WGA Picnic Events page:
“This is a family event, and all participants are requested to act accordingly.”

Now I notice an after party on Sunday. The donuts sound really tempting…

As I opened the container, several people saw dots before their eyes. Some saw splashes of color.
Thanks goodness! You didn’t use just the green ones for the salad! (Or am I assuming too much?)
The tale of the salad’s origins has whetted my appetite. It might be worth the trip southeast…

Need more info on that M & M salad before making any serious commitments.
I’m sorry, but that information is only available to those that actually attend the picnic. Trust me, it’s worth it to show up just for this salad.
Hmm-mmmmm…
It seems to me that only the WGA High Poobahs possess this information…
Must ponder our options.
