Way to go, RiverBluff!

That line must come from your role as parents, not teachers! Retirement has its perks, among them a worry-free August.
But we digress…Congrats on the milestone! Trekkin’ will be logging the new ones for quite a while. Let us know when #3000 comes up. 🙂
We’ve done some cache pages and have put photos on all of them. If you have the photo already uploaded to the page, it should have an address that you can insert into the cache description where you want it.
Basically, it’s:
The *** between the quotes is where you should put the http address of your photo. Click on the little image of the photo you put on the page, and when it comes up, the address will be at the top for you to cut and paste into your text
Make sure to click “using html” on your page. If you weren’t doing that already, then you will have to change the rest of your page into html (someone correct me on that if I am wrong).
The above is what we have used in the cache description at times. The “align” and “width” can be left off if you don’t care where or how big your photo is on the page, but it will help the page look tighter if you size the photo. Use a number larger or smaller to get the size you want, and if you align it, substitute left or center, whatever works for you.
Trial and error usually works, but keep asking for help in the forums–it’s where we got our start.

My good geofriend Brkster once told me his secret to avoiding burnout – just do a few caches every week.
So THAT’S what we’ve been doing…avoiding burnout!
Creeping our way to 200… 🙂
❓ ❓ ❓
veni, VIdi, siVI…VI-M ??????????

Congrats, Marc! 😉
OK, Kids. Back to work. The grown-ups are in charge again. 🙁 🙁 🙁
That’s awesome! Had the chance to go out yesterday, too, but not for 888. Congrats on the unique milestone! 😀
Congrats on the 600th, the FTF, the tall tale, whatever! Did you have to walk on water to do the cache? Looking forward to the real log, ZB.
(Can we access that faux zoebro show anymo?)

it’s kinda like those news headlines in the “weekly news” tabloids at the grocery store.
“Bat boy lives!”

sandlanders–still here!
Way to Go!
Welcome! You’re lucky to be in the LaCrosse area–great geocaching there, but we haven’t headed west yet to find any! They’re right about the events, but in addition to caffeine and caching, some appear to enjoy bonfires and beer (and marshmallows). 🙂
Guess I’ve never heard it, only seen it on my trusty map book all these years. “da-LOR-um”? To rhyme with “forum”?
And with so many under your belts, Honeybunnies, you day “duh-LORM”.
Who has the phone number for the company in Maine?
Ticks REALLY suck! 😉
Do you just put one of these out for someone you know? Are there some cachers who wouldn’t want this recognition? How do you know if someone else has plans to put a silver ammo can out, and can there be more than one for a certain cacher? Will the bookmark lists have the cachers’ names in the cache title so that we know who has been paid tribute to already?
The Big Question–who will still be around to do a tribute cache for us when we hit 1000 in, oh say, 2020? Maybe Noah!? 😉
Can’t offer help and we won’t be attending, but I thought I’d let you know that we saw a television ad for this event on Madison channel 27 (WKOW) this morning sometime between 11:00 a.m. and noon. The word is getting out there!
