Way To Go, Dave!
What kind of mistakes on the multi? We’re about to put one out and think we’ve got it OK, but maybe not(?). We have done 150 caches and have put out 5. We haven’t run into any problems finding the multis but we’ve read logs where a waypoint goes missing. (Sorry if this is off-topic.)
OK, that’s it! Noah! is just one cache behind us now (he has 149), and he’s probably not done logging for the night. I guess you have to be young to do 30-40 caches a day!
Better leave room for Noah! in the Millennium Club!
Time to say “good night” now.
And that is in another thread.
Oh, that was a bit late.
First to post on this page…
Is this for a puzzle cache?
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Yeah…Call that the primary season, now we’re having the conventions in the Forums, and we need to have Obama and McCain duke it out, one-on-one in Round Three. ❓ ❓ ❓

Actually, the main problem I have with winter caching is not the weather but the fact that the days are so short.
That’s the problem with winter, period. Since mid-July we have been losing two minutes of daylight each day, and now it’s up to three. 😥
But I digress.
We started caching last fall (mid-October), and we had a perfect month or so to go out a couple of days a weeks and get the hang of geocaching. We really would have hated to start in December of 2007!
Didn’t go out too much in the deep snow, but we had some adventures that were memorable. Back roads are worse in the winter, snow piles make parking difficult, and we don’t like to go out when bad weather is predicted. The other half of sandlanders hates winter caching, but he went out with me anyway.
We’re finding more caches in the summer and going for more at a time, too. We also go farther for a cache trip. At so many of our post-snow finds we’ve said, “Sure glad we didn’t look for this one in the winter!”
But let’s hope last winter was an aberration and we can get out more.
Hated the sogginess and the ticks of the spring, but it felt good to go out more. Guess I vote for fall.
How about Nipper?
Here is a picture of the kitten: 😈
Here are the others: 😈 😈
Here is Bec: 😯
Ditto.
I didn’t mean to imply that I don’t like clever hides–I love those! I just don’t want to look for them after a long trip to get to GZ. Don’t really want to go looking for a nano at the end of a three-hour uphill hike a second time.
