not sure that I have a desire to return
Jar42 says there is a dry path in. I don’t believe him. Seeing is believing. We shall see.
π
That would be where we went in. We need to go back there, or at least drive by again. Think it was 2008 when we were there last.
*chirp*
OK, Birdin’… If you’re out there, this would be the time to jump in because I’m not going to let this sit very long and have amita’s crickets go to work in the forums again… π 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…
Oh there has always been a path onto the property I suspect there is a culvert also but itβs too grown over to see.
Would that be to the north by the private property that cachers are warned to steer clear of? We just took the most direct route in, which was through the ditch. Mr. S has never wanted to return to the area after we finally made the find there.
Lonely or not, these caches are worth visiting. Great hikes in some great areas.
There was never a path across the ditch when we went… which was like four times, but many years ago. Jumped from hummock to hummock and pole vaulted with a stout stick. Labrat liked visiting that cache, too… π
And how is the rest of the Big RAC and the associated culverts, etc.?
I wonder how the Big Roche-A-Cri is handling all this rain. Will it be getting new bridges and culverts this again this year?
Do you want to go check on The Source of the Roche-A-Cri, jar42? That ditch should be nice and full right now.
There’s an FTP-as-in-Post magazine? π― π
The liquid craphas let up enough for me to go out to check the rain gauge (which I had placed back outside again specifically for this major weather event). Totals so far for Sandland = 1.7″
Cozily back inside now getting ready to make some yummy Christmas goodies.
We need more muscle here in the drivel.
Our crocuses are coming up. π
Can this post be the FTP on page 521?
Mr. S doesn’t use the computer much, but every so often he sits down to play some card games or do a special-made jigsaw puzzle. The other day he asked if I was checking out new vacuums, since he saw an ad in the page margin. (Our vacuum is dying.) So I’d better not do any online gift shopping for Mr. S if I want to keep it secret!
Now watch for all of those doll-related pop-up ads to start appearing on your computer, jar42! π
