I wonder if a bit of falling craphas will pick up the pace of this thread. ๐
No GSAK for this Mac user, but the new search on GC can find all of the caches you have corrected coords on by applying the filters “I haven’t found”, “I don’t own”, and “Have corrected coords”. 68 for us, but some of those are from traveling that I didn’t get to do or ones that someone mentioned that I looked at and solved. We need to take yet another trip to the Hayward area, plus one or two to Madison.
And then more puzzles come up…
Yes.
ARRRRRRRRRRRR! Ye be takin’ care, Mr. Pirate!
Friday afternoon in the forums is almost over; getting ready for Friday night in the forums. ๐
I broke myself today. I donโt think I will be able to drive. I took a cart to the knee while I was prepping a wine display. It is very large and painfully immobile this evening. Hoping it will shrink.
Oh, no! Was it your wooden peg leg? ๐
How are you doing today, BBG?
I may need to get more popcorn. I only bought a 12 pound bag.
And that was only for swamphog and Mr. Sandlanders! ๐
Looking forward to seeing a couple of pirates on Saturday in the land of the Little Bear. It’s been way too long!
And we plan to take seats for the movies next to or behind jar42 so we can poke him to keep him awake! ๐The coords imbedded are dummy ones, but Iโd be interested in seeing what the results are for you and let me know what you think the D would be for this
One doesn’t have to do the puzzle to see the finished image. There is a little box on the lower left of a mountain and sun that shows the finished image when clicked. The image can also be enlarged to full size where the coords are easily read. If people don’t know this shortcut, then it could be quite the puzzle to complete. Of course, I’m on the puzzle site all the time, so I know this stuff. ๐ Unless there is a way to hide this feature…. maybe some other site?
Question of the day from one of my students; โWho is John Wayne?โ
I give them a trivia question each morning to get their brains warmed up. Todayโs question was; โWho was born Marion Morrison?โ Choices were A) John Wayne, B) Elton John, C) Larry King, or D) Woody Allen. Only one student knew who Elton John was, until I played a YouTube video of โCan You Feel the Love Tonightโ), and nobody knew The Duke. Several knew that Larry King was a talk show host. What is the world coming to?
You just have to let your students use their smart phones to look up the answers. No one uses their brains anymore.
Noonan, you can make those practice puzzles private or by link only… unless you are using us for guinea pigs. ๐
So I canโt make the last post or the first post on a page, but I can do all the in between ones. I think I am blocked from the FTP game.
You are paying for all of those double posts from the old website, Mister GT. ๐
FOTD alert! Mint chocolate chip at Stevens Point Hwy 10 location.
Aaaarrrggghhh! We were working in the yard all day! And I see that Mint Chip was also the FOTD in Mauston today! But next week it will be at the other Point Culvers on Tuesday, and at Waupaca on the 9th. A visit to the summer home might be in order on Monday. (Scoopers there is closed for the season now.)
Sorry to hear about your aunt, Birdin’. Losing a family “elder” makes one realize that getting together with each other is a way to keep the family history going. Glad that all of you got to see this aunt-sister-mother-grandma recently, and make sure to share plenty of memories with each other this weekend as you remember a special woman in all of your lives.
Sunflowers are always in season in the forums! Sometimes they reflect the time of year. I will be sporting my Christmas poinsettia next month, though.
