Go ahead and say what it is in the forums here if you want to give people an advance warning, but someone (Barry still?) cruises the newly published GC events frequently and adds them to the WGA calendar on a regular basis (once or twice a week?). Self-promotion for an event is a good thing, though, so feel free to advertise away!
It’s how the logs are worded and the details of the “cachers”. These are robo-spam logs, not logs by real cachers who cheat. Those real cachers will be dealt with harshly in the afterlife… or something similar. 😉

:ftp:
WE got home about half an hour ago and have unpacked. Left in rain this morning, so we didn’t stop for some side trips we had planned. Sunny and hot now in Sandland, but the radar shows the rain catching up with us later today.
Good to be back.
JFK Twineman… havin’ a ball, havin’ a ball.
jar … sl … is the sun out over there? 6:19
I have no idea what is going on in Sandland since we are still in Hayward, where it was nice and sunny all day. We have been checking the eclipse off and on right now. Time to get off the motel computer and go check it again.
Ten hours????? Ten hours, people???? That’s going to take a bigger bump than I have in my bag of tricks!
Amita, we’re still up north, getting home on Monday. I’ll share some falls pics then. Great turnout, IMO. Lots of fun. Lostcheq put a whole bunch of new caches in the park for everyone to go for. Some did them all yesterday, those who stayed over were doing more today. Lots of caching campers. Haven’t seen how last night’s campfire event went, but I know T&B were there, so she can chime in.
Had one hike kick our butts early on today, so we were dragging the rest of the time. Didn’t do the long hiking series we had planned, but we did drive around on a lot of back roads. Lots of hunters (bear and grouse) and ATVers out and about on this Packerless Sunday with beautiful fall weather.
Meeting Cheeze for supper again.
BC, in all of your cheap posting I never saw a mention of our nine-month co-birthday today. 😉
The picnic was very nice. However, no Speedos were sported or spotted. Bartrod has a legitimate gripe on that. No one went over the falls in a barrel, but the water was roaring and gorgeous!
The fog that was at Pattison SP lifted as we drove east on our way back to Cheezeland. Lovely sun for the whole drive. Lovely sunset after we got back. Moon is now rising large. More area caching tomorrow. Gotta love those long hikes into the woods for ONE cache. Beats 100 P&Gs any day. Might attempt a four-mile power trail hike tomorrow… ten caches. 😉
BBG, were you still able to finish the chores at our house even though you had a plumbing emergency at home? 😈
Greeting from north of Highway 64! Found four caches today in Eau Claire, and then four more in the Hayward area. Some nice leaf color around, but not a lot. Had fish fry tonight with… cheeze. See y’all tomorrow if you’re going to the picnic. If you’re not, then keep the home fires burning along with the drivel pages!
Time for us to head north of Highway 64 and some great caching. Of course, we’re not done packing yet.
Mr. President, the fall picnic is not in Minnesota. 😉
You could drive only a couple of hours or so and do everything that needs doing around our place… 😉
🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁
But I will sleep better Saturday night knowing that you are at home and not still on the road so late, BBG.
No spam on any of our caches…
I think I need to get started on baking the cookies we are planning to bring to the picnic. We’re heading north tomorrow.
