No signs allowed on the city-owned boulevard between the sidewalk and the street. We’re not in a decent location for people to put up yard sale signs, but the ones we display for political candidates have always been placed on our side of the sidewalk.
Hannibal is interesting, but more touristy than we had expected.
We liked the tour of the cave. Took it in 1965 and in 1972. Haven’t been back to Hannibal since.

Bartrod, just attach a TB tag to a smiley button and call it your personal trackable. Less money that way. Or have your geocoins made, then just give them to special people. No need to “send them out into the wild”.
I saw the zoo interchange mess on the news.
2.5″ of rain here in East Sandland this morning, not sure if there is any more on the way.
And only twenty miles west of East Sandland, we received only 0.9″ of rain in the rain gauge.
BBG, you are just trying to cope with the closing of the pool for the season.

I was eight when my younger sister was born. My grandma took care of my older sister and me while our mom was in the hospital (C-section) and my dad was at work. I wore my hair in braids at the time, so my grandma did her best to style it the same each morning, but she never got the braided part far enough down, so I went to school with a big hunks of braid-frizz below the rubberbands and bows.
It is not up to grandmas to know how to style hair in the current fashion. That’s for moms and dads (and friends and siblings and cousins and maybe aunties) to know. Your son needs to take that remedial hairstyling class, not you. Grandmas just need to be huggy and lovey and share what they do know. You don’t even need to know all the characters in “Frozen”. The grands will enjoy educating you on all things current.
Thanks for the update, Labrat! Looking forward to the picnic and some color by those waterfalls!

Kind of the opposite here, Noonan. Should be about the last of our heat right now.
Birdin’, we got some rain, but the red and yellow on the radar fizzled. More lined up, though. We’ll see what action (if any) we get out of that line. Hope I sleep right through it.
Waiting for the storm to hit… or miss.
