Staying flame-free in Bonanza, Noonan?
We have been working on both DeLorme challenges. We have only the southwest corner of the state (three pages) to go before finishing the new one, but there are a few more pages we need to finish the original one. Even though there is no challenge final for the original one anymore, it is still a challenge we can complete for ourselves. We have had the 366 days done for quite a while now, but we haven’t found any cache that celebrates that, and if we do, we do. If not, we have our completion.
We still go for at least one cache a month, and we have done that ever since we started caching in October of 2007.
A real challenge on that one… 🙄 😉Thread Stealers topic was way down in #6 on the most recent list. Can’t be having that!
I don’t know why no one has welcomed you to the WGA yet, iamarobot. Maybe it’s because your caching name says you are a robot, and bots are not looked kindly upon when they manage to sneak a post into a forum. Consider yourself lucky that your post hasn’t been deleted yet. 😉 If you are a real robot, that will eventually happen. If you are not (and since you have finds and hides and make sense in your post and aren’t trying to sell us something, I am pretty sure you are not a bot), then I will say welcome to the WGA, iamarobot!

No rain yet at the Sandcastle. Mr. S headed out on his bicycle almost two hours ago, and he hasn’t called for a pick-up, so he must be staying dry. The radar shows color in the area, but not where his planned route is. To be honest, I thought he wouldn’t even get his six-mile route in, much less a 20+ one.
Wonder if Mister GT is back from camping yet…

Found a closer possibility for you, Labrat. Our “Tile Silo” ( GC416R3 ) has ten favorites, and it’s just south of town about six miles. And you could still have a fun-filled day caching in Sandland!
I have not researched the summer souvenirs much, but I was wondering if someone waited and found a D5 puzzle with over ten favorites in late August if all three souvenirs would be awarded for that one find.

Wrong direction for you, so it’s still a ton of miles… but you could always do some caching in Sandland on your way there or back. 😉
Well, Labrat, you have till September 2 to do it. Maybe some 8s and 9s close to you will have more fav points by then.
We have one that we have never gotten around to doing that is less than 15 miles from us… but it involves rock climbing. 4.5 T, which is why we haven’t done it yet. Maybe we’ll just drive 30-40 miles instead… 🙄
I wonder how things are going around Mr. GT’s campfire…
I ate so much cake today that I ended up mowing the whole lawn to work it off… hopefully.
