Unless you aren’t sure if where you want to put the cache is OK (in which case, personal contact might be better before the form even gets submitted), in my opinion, go ahead and place the cache without waiting for approval.  It could take a long time or it may never come back to you at all.  We always include a self-addressed stamped envelope to increase the odds of getting a reply, but sometimes that reply can take a while.  If there is definitely something wrong with your placement, the reviewers might catch it before the DNR personnel do.  One major no-no:  No physical caches in state natural areas.

If you scroll down it says create a new geocache.  That used to be enough.  Scroll down farther:  create a new event.  A-ha!  There it is!  No hint at all of what is hiding way down at the bottom of that page…  🙄

Scroll further down below the images of other types of caches.  There is a create an event part to that page… events and CITOs.  I recently had the same problem.  Not the best set-up for people to see… 😕

Birdin’ and I went on a date today.  Had 2 for 1 burgers, a $5 movie, and mint chip FOTD for the post-show (she had hot fudge).  I even found a different avatar, thanks to the Frozen short.  Now if we can only score a twirly deep blue ball gown like the one that Cinderella wore.
