I wonder if jar42 has started springing ahead yet.
Got the opportunity to start a History through Film class this semester. Patriot, Glory, Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and currently Birth of a Nation.
Mr. S taught eighth grade history, and he showed “Glory” to all of his classes every year from when it came out to when he retired.  It was a sanitized version sent out to schools that didn’t have as much of the blood or the swearing, but sill very powerful.
Same for here, Noonan! Â đ đ
I know that Bec and WisKid have just renegotiated multi year contracts with significant pay increases and signing bonuses.
… and all that is probably news to them. Â đ
AndâŠâŠ..I are a yoga assistant now! Yes, I is!
:like:
Just got back from Shopko. Â I was there longer than Mr. S was at his meeting elsewhere!
Cue the dulcimer!
Gasp! Did I hear the âf wordâ in the long range weather forecast for next week??? FortyâŠbe still my beating heart!!!!
We have an even better “f word” for around here:  FIFTY!  (Sorry, bartrod.  Your “canvas” may be disappearing soon.)
Hack, I have a Mac.
And as for those boxed-up items, if they are clothes and can sit around your house for a month, may I suggest GC5NT3H ?
This weekend… March 7.
I discovered a pretty neat DVR option this week. Windows Media Center on my computer has the option of recording any show or movie thatâs on the schedule. I donât have a $100+ subscription to any cable or satellite co, so I donât have a traditional DVR to record with. I checked over the weekend what movies were coming up that I could potentially record on my computer with WMC; it had 831 choices. Thatâs a lot of options. It records them in WTV format. Not sure what will play them other than Windows Media Center on the computer. I know thereâs programs out there that will convert WTV to mp4 or avi, so Iâll possibly look into that if WTV wonât play on the TV.
Could you repeat that in English, please? Â (We still have a VCR… đ )
Well, so much for Senior Day at Shopko. Â BBG seems to have his own strategy for stocking the pirate larder! Â đ
Were there any WGA event pathtags prior to 2013?
2011 campout pathtag with a stick figure and a tent on it
2011 picnic pathtag with the Old Abe eagle on it
set of five basic WGA pathtags from… 2011? Â green, brown, blue, black, and the sparkly red
Am I the only one still awake? Itâs not even 9:00.
Gotta get to bed early for the big shopping day tomorrow.
I come up with six different WGA geocoins:
2005 (deer); 2007Â (state symbols-muskie); 2008 (cow); 2010 (four-quadrant state); 2011 (copper round); 2012 (WGA letters – in gold or silver)
