For the WGA, look at the left menu, go to Your Account, then in there, under Basic Information, the first item (username) tells how to make the name change (needs to go through admins).

Did you get the name change on geocaching.com already?

no, I am working on that now I did send them a message asking them how to go about doing that to see if they can change it for me or what I have to do.

Thanks for the information on the WGA stuff I will do that now.

I dont think anyone will miss Team Outdoorsman. We havent meet a lot of people through caching and the people we have met know me as Kevin or Meg(wife). and some know me as Kevin 2.0. (long story). so changing the name wont affect people we know.

Thanks for all the names keep them coming we will look at all of them.

Thanks for the help everyone. I checked all the things everyone had said to check and nothing was check such as reguire waas or the use indoors button. So I did a soft reboot put fresh batteries in it and went outside let the unit sit for about 1-3 ins and locked on including waas. I did loose all the way I had it set up but it locked on. I couldnt believe it so I turned it off and tried it again and it locke don with in a min and satyed that way the whole time I went driving around and never lost position. Thanks everyone again. Your were a big help. now to figure out how to make it so the screen is easier to see without having the backlight on LOL. I know it is impossible to do i will get used to it.

    Thanks again,

    Kevin

Jerrys dad once you figure this all out could you post it so we can see what the average height of a cacher is. andwhat it is compared to the rest of the class.

    Kevin-Male 6′-1″
    Meg-Female 5″-8″

When i am caching I usually carry a leatherman multi tool. I found cool holster for it so it sits sideway on my belt verses up and down. I also carry buck knife in my back pack. And I also carry a small swiss army knife in my pants pocket at all times, no matter what I am doing. But next to my bed I have a 12 inch survival knife. At work I also carry my multi tool but also carry a Kabar fold out knife.

in reply to: Have you seen the signs? #1915523

I used to work with the DNR and am hoping to get another job with them. those signs are deterent signs but are also trail cameras are up in some areas where things are countinouisly bad. You will also see signs at location where wood is sold and ice that states 24 hour survalence cameras watching this area. Not all campgrounds have them but SOME (2-5) due. Hope this helps with some questions.

I worked for the Kettle Moraine Southern Unit and there is a trail called nordic ski/hiking trail. I was there to clean the bathrooms after cleaning the restrooms I watched a womens dogs dropp a package off she cleaned it up then proceeded to look for a garbage can when I told her this was a carry in carry out trail she argued with me that there is nothing stating that in which there are signs stating this is a carry in carry out right where she grabed the bag from to clean up the package she told me that was stupid and proceeded to walk away with package in hand. She then threw the package behind the building thinking I wouldnt see it. Normally if she would of asked me nicley I would have taken it for her but since she didnt I wasent going to offer (plus she was really yelling at me how stupid it was carry in carry out). She walked away onto the trail along came my buddy ranger rick I told him about what happened he then took pictures and waited. I left but later on ranger rick told me she came out dog dropped another package in which she didnt pick up so he gave her a ticket for that along with littering ticket. The reason I am telling this story is because most people dont even look at the signs or even read what is written. Then bash the DNR for giving out tickets on stuff.
