I have been reading this forum since it started. I don’t know if I am allowed to chime in on this but I personally think that if you can’t sign the log you shouldn’t get credit. Unless there is some sort of problem, such as I couldn’t really sign the log for 2 caches because one there was not enough room on the log sheet (magnet with a piece of paper) and the second one the log book was soaked so I tried to sign it the best way I could. But if people want to play this game by getting to GZ and saying found it but not signing the log book that’s there beef not mine I personally wont loose any sleep about it. If you can log a find while out caching hey more power to you. I personally cant do it so until that time I will come home and log all my finds when the day is over or when I get the chance. I even think there are caches that I have found and never logged. But this is my 2 cents take it or leave it I am going to bed now again not going to loose any sleep over it. Sorry for rambling on but it is nice to hear what other people do in the sport/game/addiction what ever you want to call it. I mean cant we all get along and do this for fun its not like we are getting paid to do this or we win some sort of million dollar check. It would be nice but come on I do this for the fun and enjoyment. Ok I am really going to bed now.

in reply to: Free Topo Map of Wisconsin (garmin) #1904323

I just down loaded the maps and I use a Garmin 60cs and it works great.
I did try and Download the street version and it was a waste of time as far as I can see you get the same information with the topo that you do in the street dl.

I think you would have to talk to the WGA president and see about getting this done.

in reply to: Geocaching at large Scouting Event #1903937

I would be willing to help out in any way. Being a fellow scouter I would like to give back to the future of the sport/hobby. Maybe the WGA can set up a group of people to help organize the event and volunteer to staff it.

GMO, I am in the same boat as you except that I am too exhausted to do anything. I was up last night until 3:30 running off road races at the RC track that I go too because there was nobody there to run them, and to top it off there was over 50 people there and all of them wanted there own thing. so making it even more difficult for me because this was my first time running it. so I get to sit at home today and relax but tomorrow though i am going out in the mud to find at least 10 (hopefully)
