i went on line and they show almost all the sites to be reserved for amping i checked the web site and it did not say anything about being closed do i need to call them. and does anyone have cache numbers for the ones in Rocky arbor park i don’t know how to look them up on GC. and with the camper supports my wife is sleeping on the other side due to my rolling around when ever we go camping and she also says i get really warm when i am sleeping outside so she cant sleep next to me due to the heat 😆 😉 😉

Sure Cheeto ( not steeling my tread LOL) on another note I found out that the bed should hold 8oo lbs. so I think I am good there. Our first trip is July 11th the only site we were able to get was at Rocky Arbor State Park. Does anyone know of any good caches there that we might be able to do. please let me know.

well me and the wife went out to Mama Mia’s to pick up dinner at the beginning of the storms got caught just as we pull up to the restaurant ran in and got food ran out high tailed it back to the house to find water coming into our basement form the windows our window wells were filling up with water and then coming into the house from the windows big mess but not too much damage just have to throw some sleeping bags that got soaked away and some other stuff but we survived.

29192 thats my number. i worked for a towing company about 5 years ago and i saw a lot of drunk drivers out on the road. had to pick some of them up and tow there cars to the junk yard. i could sit here and tell story after story of the idiots that i had run ins with i agree with everyone it needs to be changed

I agree with you Zuma. This is supposed to be fun so lets have fun. with gas prices being the way they are we might have to hold different events because some might not want to drive all over the state for just a day. again my 2 cents. i mean no disrespect I think all BOD members should be given a big Thank you they all work at doing stuff on there own on there time away from family and friends and there is all ways going to be someone not happy cant please everyone.

I’m Sorry but all this bickering is very disappointing. I sorry but any new members logging onto the WGA forums for the first time and they see this makes it look like we are all doing this as a carrier and this is life and death and not for fun.i do this for fun only it is not a must thing for me i like to do it and its fun but when you read all this bickering back and forth it make me want to quit. i know the first hing people are going to say is i don’t get out as much as everyone else but I have a Job that prohibits me from doing more. I say this because a friend of mine logged in one day to read some posts to see what we all talk about and he couldn’t believe all the fighting on some of the forums. cant we all just get along and do this for fun. Maybe we should hold 2 events one in the SE and one up north only if there is enough people to help out with setting it up and running it. but that’s my 2-cents worth take it or leave it but remember this is supposed to be a fun hobby to get us outdoors and enjoy mother nature.

has anybody tried taking garlic pills. when i was in Boy Scouts i used to take garlic pills everyday you have to make sure they are 100% garlic. i would take in the beginning 3 tablets a day 2 in the morning and 1 at night after about 1 week or so i would go down to 2 a day 1 in the morning and 1 at night before bed. besides smelling like an Italian restaurant (only when you sweet real bad) the ticks never landed on me at all everybody else would be full of them. now a days i take 2 a day and spray myself and gear with a spray that i cant remember off hand right now but i don’t get any ticks they don’t even land on me. they will fall on my clothes but will not go onto my skin. i even placed on on my skin and it looked like it was on fire and jumped off. anybody else have any home remedies for ticks. let me know i am always interested into new cures for this kinda stuff.

your right i live on 51 and Dakota so we are practically neighbors ha pretty funny. and if my memory holds true which sometimes it falls off a bit there is a cache right about 1-2 blocks form your house.

Thanks for the shameless plug No Hands but you are a Liar I never trained you. 😆 I did However show you some simple little tricks though stuff i was taught from Grouse tales, auntie N, Jeremy, and many others. once i get my new GPSR i will be happy to show anyone some of those tricks ( which are not tricks at all) just lots of Patience 😉
