I use that permodone ( I think that’s how you spell it ) it works great. I was at work collecting snakes in one of our future subdivisions and everyone found at least 10 ticks on then I only found 1 and it was just crawling around looking for a new place to go

did you also know it is illegal to have lights under your car or around the license plate in the state of Wisconsin i found this out when i was driving a tow truck and was called to impound a car because the driver was being arrested for disorderly conduct for yelling at the cop because he was getting a ticket for it and for speeding
welcome to the wonderful world of Geo caching jut to let you know i found a garmin legend with topo map system computer cable car charger and case for 180.00 at gander mountain earlier this week might want to check it out.
Me and my wife Got those nifty name tags at the picnic 06 so we have been wearing them when we cache in the woods not in the city cuz then people think were weird 😆
but we have not met anyone on the trails while caching. so wearing them is kinda pointless so we just keep wearing them in the hope of meeting someone sometime.
well off to go hunting
I agree that people have the right to there opinion what bugs me is all the name calling and such that is what i don’t agree with. truthfully I’m here to have fun and see what other people have to say about a sport i like to do. so we can all disagree some times its the name calling and stuff that we should just leave out of the forum.
being new to geocaching this is kinda turning me off from posting things and replying to things i thought this was supposed to be a fun thing game whatever not a cat fight between people i mean come on cant we all just get along and have fun.
I agree I think thelogo without everything sping looks the best i would love to buy a patch or t-shirt with that logo on it
Being new to the sport I don’t know how much I should input. But may be at the next one have a couple easy caches, a couple caches that are a little harder and so on up to a 5 star rating. I met a lot of people at the event. I also met some new comers that didn’t own a gpsr and they were looking to get started. So if everything was a 5 star rating it might discourage new comers to the sport. The picnic can still be a social event but also able to get new comers involved. I know that it was nice to put faces to names at the picnic. We met a lot of new people that will hopefully become friends in the end.
let me know if my feelings are helpfull
kev.
we take photos but we do not post them if they have any clues to the cache. i think the only one we ever did was a pic of the cache spread out showing all the trinkets inside. but we walked a couple of steps away and took the picture so as to not spoil the location. but i agree with you that pictures should not show the location at all maybe only the cache container might be ok but that’s a gray area. i know we are new but my wife also noticed when she was looking for caches to go on that she saw pics of the location and where it was she didnt like that at all.
