[edit]Looks like you are not a premium member, so the first step would be to pay your $30… or you could figure out the map pages you’ve completed by hand (I did it in about an hour) and enter them into the WGA site.[/edit]

I entered mine onto the WGA site (only 14!?! 😡 ). Is the only way to get them to show up here to use the premium account feature?

Send me a file with your caches (such as an EasyGPS LOC file) and I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks for the offer to help, but this stuff is completely foreign to me. I’ll try to play around with it, but it may take a while. 😆

52-Pickup – WWF #01 & #02 (Copper Falls) is a great one. It’s a multi where you need to gather information from around the trails around Copper Falls and Brownstone Falls, and the coords you put together will direct you to a microcache in the park.

Invasion of the Flatlanders is also in Copper Falls State Park, and is one of my favorite finds; it’s definitely worth the walk to find these out-of-the-way falls.

Almost Heaven truly lives up to its name. While I haven’t found this cache (which sounds like it’s an easy find very close to the trail), Saint Peter’s Dome is one breathtakingly amazing place to visit. The hike is rough, but it is most definitely worth it.

52-Pickup – WWF #03 (Morgan Falls) is almost certainly missing, but be sure to check out Morgan Falls on your way up to Saint Peter’s Dome; it is a few steps off the main trail. This is a wonderful little (in width, not height!) waterfall.

I hope you get a chance to check these out. There aren’t many caches up north, but the ones there are usually something special. 🙂

    At least you asked.
This one is driving me a bit nuts … more than I am already.

    It’s not pronounced …. CATCH
But, it’s not SPELLED … CASH (I’ve been seeing those in log entries now).

Yeah, I think GC.com even says how to say it in the intro/FAQ page. I admit I thought it was “cashay” before I was introduced to caching. 😆

While I’m not sure what kind of radios we have, my boyfriend and I have recently started using 2-way radios for caching. I didn’t think they’d really be of much use; we don’t get that far away from each other when searching, but I’m glad we have them now. It’s nice to be able to talk in a normal voice instead of shouting. I clip mine to my collar; a hand-held one would be too in-the-way. And I guess it is a bit safer, especially when we’re in very unfamiliar places or if it’s getting dark. Ours were aboug $35 for the pair. They came with battery packs and chargers and have an 8-mile range, so they work fine for caching.

….When you see that a green Jeep TB is nestled safely in the cache you placed it in before you go to bed, and it’s gone by sunrise the next morning. (a la RickBlick & Chick) 😆

Oh, another thing you can do if you are just looking to get some new icons or something: go to the cache, write down the number, and leave it behind. Then you can write a “discovered” log which will count on your stats, but the coin doesn’t move.

Ah, that’s a great idea; I forgot about the “discover” option for trackables. 8)

Thanks for the tip. We are going to be not too far from there at the end of the month and it definitely looks like it’s worthy of a detour.

And what a cool GC number!

I saw you stopped at this one; glad you enjoyed it! 😀
