Whoops! Yup, that’s exactly what I posted. Guess I read the original request message too fast. Saw “need coordinates” “entrance” “High Cliff” and made some ASSumptions. Sorry…

OK… Here’s the DNR web site that shows the park map:
http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/specific/highcliff/map.htmUp near the top there’s an intersection of “State Park Road” and “Spring Hill Drive”. Per Garmin’s Mapsource with the Roads & Rec datum, that intersection is N44 10.103 W88 17.359
Good luck!

Hmmm, sounds like a job for Mapsource Roads & Rec (Garmin). Parks are shown, even teeny tiny city and county parks. I’m taking some vacation time this afternoon so I’ll look it up and post mid-afternoon today if nobody else has before I get to it.

Ken,
Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, the site appears to be trying to force me to download a 14-day trial version of RealOne player in order to listen to the blurb. Thanks but no thanks.

When I want to *print* photofinisher quality prints (there is no developing involved since there is no film…) I use ofoto.com. They’re currently offering a 20% off coupon using the coupon code “PHOTOFUN”. This expires July 24th.

Trudy & Beast,
Thanks for the Markwell. I had looked through “all” help threads here at wi-geocaching.com but neglected to poke around at the big site. Sometimes it seems like there’s too much there…
Lots of good ideas in that thread!

I agree with “Keep it going” but find it hard to believe the county park fee would keep hunters away. If the Waukesha county parks get more popular as hiding spots, remember there’s a very reasonable priced annual sticker.
Personally I like the fact that those (including ME) who use these parks help pay for their care & feeding needs…

Jeff (and Team Flushingrouse, who helped via email), I appreciate your assistance. I had an extra 10 minutes on my way home from work today and stopped to look for the evidence. I found it and the final cache coordinates. Now to take my family back and finish up.
One more question…is there too much information in my original request for help? Should I edit some of it out so as not to give anything away?
Thanks,
Steve Karolek and family -
