Thanks for all the comments! It’s been fun so far, and as Mathman says, I plan to keep it fun. That 1,000 mark doesn’t seem too far away now, and it is good caching season!

Yes, number 500 was on Mathman’s STS series – actually on the final one. Even with all the snow around here, there’s a lot of friendly caches. I’ll see how the next 500 go.

And about the 007’s – well, not in Milwaukee, but we have Central and Western WI pretty well covered. 8)

I’ve been using Cachmate on a Tungsten E2 also, for about 4-5 months. Have not had any issues like you describe. I have used the software on two different computers. Only issue was dropping it in a lake 🙁 , but even after 30 minutes in the lake, it was revived (after a couple days drying out, opened up and diassembled into about 10 pieces). And, everything was still there! Display not quite as bright as it once was.

Let me know if you find anything out, so I can plan for the future.
