    Searchers,

We were Mobipocket all the way for quite some time…But, those searching probs. along with a few other items left us wanting more…

Since, we have gone the Spinner/Plucker route with much more satisfaction…There’s actually a “link” to the hint right after the cache’s page…

It’s true, that it seems complicated but, once you’ve got it down, not all that bad..

    Hey Weezul…

I’d just turn right around and put the thing back on Ebay… Maybe you could even make a couple extra bucks to boot???

    Just a thought

    Johnny,

Looks like you’re from the Green Bay area… I think you should stash a couple of those up in Door County. Team Flushingrouse will be taking a little trip to the area sometime in early Oct…

    Just an idea!

What better to go with grouse breasts than a couple of nice sized walleye fillets??

This is beginning to sound like the beginnings of a WGA wild game feast!

    Yum!!

Let’s throw a few pheasant roll-ups in there too!!

    Here’s an idea…

    Picture this…

    Mid October!!

How ’bout a meeting deep in the Nicolet… Just pull up a stump, wait for your eggs to be done on the campfire… A few fresh grouse in the gamebag… Ahhhh….

    All dogs welcome!!

Alright the pda is finally here. Actually for a couple of days now and I’ve played with it to the point where I think I can ask a couple of questions…. I got a Clie s-360 and installed the Mobipocket reader, hint decoder, and geocache log. I have enough of an understanding of them to talk at least, somewhat intelligently about them..

I have a pocket querry sent to me twice a week from gc.com which contains two files, one is the .gpx file for 100mi. radius of Sussex, WI and the other is the .prc file to go with it. As long as I replace the old files with the new, I should always be up to date…right?

First, what’s wrong with using the Mobipocket reader prog. to view the cache pages on my clie (.prc files)? Seems like everyone mentions “plucker” and “spinner”. Am I missing something…?

Second, I open the .gpx file in EasyGPS and send it off to my Legend? As far as I can tell, that’s all I need to do. Other than get the kids and such in the car and ready to go!

All that’s left is to go out and find some caches, sign some logs, come home and log them on gc.com…

    Did I miss anything?

    Thanks for your input!

I believe you will find some answers from this thread….http://wi-geocaching.com/forums/Forum1/HTML/000126.html

    At least I did!

That is as long as S&T 2001 works with importing data like S&T 2003…

    Try this too!!….http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;264294

    Hopefully this helps a bit..
