    Snail,

If you’re interested in a Legend, we have one that’s only about 8 months old or so. It’s in Mint condition. We have both data cables the standard one, and the one with 12v power plug… If we were to put it up for sale… What would you offer? If it’s enough, I get to buy a new unit!

Maybe we can work a deal!

Yup, the Legend has waypoint projection…. I used it for “Ritual of The Wizards Tower”

Seemed to put us “right on” the marks… it’s really a neato thing to do..

Like I said….”this may not be true but”…

I seem to have ruffled some feathers unintentionally. Again it’s just my $.02.. Never did I say to boycott the product! Looking at an earlier post of mine I even showed some interest in purchasing one…Still do!

I hereby apologize for any harm I may have done Thales Navigation. And in the process I learn that maybe I shoud have looked into it a bit further before posting a comment that at the time, for me, was really just for fun…

    Sorry,

Does anyone want to comment on their meridians? How do you think they compare to a Legend from, either experience or, heresay… Like I stated before, this is just curiosity at this point… Just looking/thinking at this point…
    All input welcome!

    Cheers

We’d be interested!! We were only able to stay for a portion of the High Cliff outing. Emergency at home!! What a great time!!

The “guilty” party feels they now OWE use more babysitting time! So, we’re up for it… Keep us posted as things progress..

We’ve had a legend now for the last 6 months or so, and have had not a single problem with doing anything related to geocaching…All you need is the legend itself..

    I think Amazon.com has the best price on them now…$189.00 – $50.00 rebate = $139.00

    Hope this helps!!

I believe I’ve got an extra etrex cable around here. In the event that it turns out to be the problem, you could probably just have it…

It came with my Legend but, I ended up getting another one with the 12v supply.

Look me up at the campout if you find the problem is the cable..

    Oh well…

Here I thought you’d have the storage/shipping thing all worked out already.. Leave it to me to look like a sucker… Maybe in a smaller version that wouldn’t be too bad of a deal. I’ve always got a use for ammo cans..

in reply to: Chat is on.. #1735387

9:04 a.m. Read your message and tried it myself. Got a blank page now too!! I dunno’ maybe it’s not worth the effort. Or, the actual website hosting the chat pages is having some sort of trouble…

If anyone’s reading these posts, give us a “yay” or “nay” on the live chat thing. In the end, it may not be worth the effort.

Nothing’s saying that the clayjar thing couldn’t work or our own channel on IRC?

    What do you all think?

in reply to: Chat is on.. #1735385

I tried it agian at 2:25 a.m. and all seemed to work. Unless, the link I listed before is a couple of links “ahead” of the actual chat page. More specifically, next time try http://client.sigmachat.com/sc.pl?id=39081

Doesn’t seem to be a ton of interest anyhow unless maybe we just come right out and say it’s Mondays at 8:00 period. This would coincide with the “clayjar” chat thing as well like kbraband has shown interest in…
