Just something else to ponder. The “Snowmobiles Allowed” icon means you can arrive near the cache via a sled, but does it infer the cache is “Winter Friendly”?
Most likely that the cache is on a snowmobile trail. We have a public bookmark (Snomocacing Up Nort) for these specific type of caches. In the bookmark we also make a bookmark note if it is a “sled up and grab” or if you can get to within a few feet of it.
It all depends for the icons. On the Bearskin Trail Up Nort the attribute could be a Bike for summer and in winter it is a snowmobile trail. At times you may or may not have both icons for snowmobile and for snow flake. As you are limited to the number of icons.
We can attest that if -cheeto- has an attribute for a snowflake…it is 99.999 percent “Winter Friendly”
Winter caching is much like summer caching…it all depends…on the weather………..what is and what is not.

The Blondie Bloodhound and YT do not subscribe to keeping the area near our home GZ “clean” and showing all smileys. But that’s just us.
➡ There is something comforting in knowing that you have a couple of caches that are just north. south. east or west of us that are available to find. If that’s what we decide to do. Always good to keep your options opened. We can walk to them or bike to them or snowshoe to them if the mood strikes us.
Heck there is one that has been waiting for us since December 2007 for us to find GC182D3. 😆 Another one quite close is GC1CHGE that has been sitting there since June 2008.
💡 Hmmmmm…..that has the makings of a bookmark list: “Caches We May, or May Not Find” 😆 😆 😆
The chores can wait if the weather is nice.
Actually, if the weather isn’t nice the chores can wait too.
The Blondie Bloodhound and YT are all season…. all weather cachers.
For the most part we are set to replace log sheets / baggies etc.
If not, the Blondie Bloodhound has made it an art of coming up with a strip from a cache page print out. 😆
We also try to take note any previous logs of “log full” etc and just as a matter of fact help out our fellow cachers. No big eddy.
Up in the Nort Woods we have encountered caches in the past that have had many posts of “log full” comments…that have just gone ignored (sadly).
It only takes minute or two to add something to help out.
This is a great project to be involved in.
We have moved about eight new SetonCacher’s TB’s and they are ready to get moved along to the next stage of their journey.
Perhaps you could visit GC16MX0 and help move them along.
Thanks!

WTG Chris and the entire caching crew for the 1K Milestone.
We were so thrilled when we saw your log come through for
GC1F4R7 “Pergola on the Trail – #1000” being your 1K.So very nice to see that and so very nice of you to help us in placing GC1F4R7. And, we always wondered why you had not turned that into a smiley face. Now we know why! Excellent choice for Number 1000.
We drive by the Pergola very often on our way to Puzzletown and we always get a smiley face knowing that you helped gettting it placed.
Thanks agaon and CONGRATS!
