There are times when the “lady” is right and it’s ‘ok’ to drive on a snowmobile trail (that is when the trails are closed at the end of March).
You can visit GC19YQ6 right now and enjoy a very nice trail/road to get to it. The “lady” will auto route you there. Just watch out when the berries are in season for the…..black bears!

Im wondering how many cachers out there are looking and / or using these bookmarks.
Yes. We do use them and look at them.
Even more so now that we have submitted our public bookmark Snomocaching in the Nort Woods (which got its start with GC19YQ6).I encourage other WGA members to submit their bookmarks.
For example, gotta run’s bookmark (under Cahe Series) for marc’s WSQ Quest series would be one of interest and use to our association members.

I’m looking at buy Garmin City Navigator for my Map 60 CSx. But don’t know if I should get it on CD or the SD card. Is one better than the other? Easier??
I went through the ying and yang on this one. Went with the CD so I could also have it in my MapSource desk top. That’s a huge plus for so many reasons. I have a Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx.
There was also something involved with checking and getting updates online form Garmin for the CD was a plus vs the SD card (not an option) if I recall correctly.
Hope this helps.

I just down loaded the maps and I use a Garmin 60cs and it works great.
I did try and Download the street version and it was a waste of time as far as I can see you get the same information with the topo that you do in the street dl.This sounds interesting. A couple of questions.
This topo download can be used for MapSource and you can you then load the top into the Garmin 60Cx?
If so, can you then utilize the auto-routing feature for the Garmin 60Cx ?
Do you then have 2 map formats in the GarminCx to opt to use?
Thanks in advance. I like topos.

You test drive a new car and decide that you better stop on the test drive and find a cache, (just to ensure it would make a good caching vehicle.) 😉
Done that!
Our shopping experience included a must do caching experience. We picked out a couple of caches near the dealer when we tested out our soon to be new geo-mobile. It worked out fine including GC1FD3Y for the off-road portion. We then traded in our old geo-mobile which (luckily) survived doing the Wisconsin DeLorme Challenge (plus a side trip to Montana).
Before that we had rented a couple of vehicles for caching and test driving purposes. And, yes it did fit in the garage when we brought it home that day!
Sorry, could you please repeat the question? 😀
WoW!
Way to go John and Gail on your milestone!
