Wishing you a speedy recovery. And, in the meantime now is the time to work on some of those puzzle caches.

Incorporate that all into your therapy.

      Take care and God Bless.

OK, first of all. A question. What is the easiest way to share a PQ with geo-friends prior to a day of caching?

You know, that way everyone can do their own thing before hand whether it is going paperless or printing sheets off.

We haven’t done too much caching with other folks. We had hoped to cache with the master Sagasu-Son but that didn’t work out.
But we look forward to that.

                  We have cached with:

                  1. Jet-Black
                  2. Liketolook
                  3. Refelo
                  4. Chr
                  5. Sweech

Hopefully, I haven’t omitted anyone. We have come across several cachers on-the-trail.

                    Excellent hogrod. Thanks.

Yes, right now I do use the iQue 3600 for the auto routing portion of the cache hunt. I’ll take a look at the Garmin download you so kindly provided.

So perhaps with that download and a Puck I’d be set or would I still need to get additional software?

Or. try to interface the iQue 3600?

                    Thanks again for the reply.

This is a berry good topic. This is the time of the year when bears are ranging for food. The bears are ravenous. Until the berries come out they will continue to do so. A fact of nature.

During this time they (black bears) will be seen during the day time seeking food. During our recent cache outings including some Up Nort- we have come across black bears. They are very hungry. The bears range looking for food. Pretty much anything will do. Fawns, family pets (dogs) bird feeders and the like. Once the berries are available they pretty much have a consistent food source. (However, if you are a berry picker that will be of concern to you.)

We spotted several black bears within the last 2 weeks near Mountain and Winter here in Wisconsin. Also, while driving down Vander Cook Road on our way to Slo’s Pub on Big Arbor Vitae Lake during the day we saw a black bear. It is something to remember and can be unnerving to some.

So, please (pardon this) be berry berry careful and beware of da Bears. This is all part of being out and about in nature (the wild) as opposed to a city park.

Just as we had to be mindful of diamond back rattlers recently when we cached out in Utah, Nevada and Idaho. So keep this in mind and enjoy!

We will be using that now – OK a slight variant – our Granddaughter lost her bike lock key…….but hey more TOT (time over target) for us and no longer will playgrounds be our bane.

You can check with them, but I’m pretty sure it will work. Essentially they are listing which package is “best” for a particular unit. The downgrades almost always work as well. Just give them a call and ask.

Great info and good to know. I’ll check it out and get the skinny.

You could just buy the non-NT version of CN. You will still be able to get almost everything loaded on a 2GB card. I doubt that you will need northern Canada, Alaska or Hawaii any time soon, and you can always select a new set of maps for any trip you want to take.

The non-NT version of CN will work for the iQue 3600….but if I’m reading the Garmin web-site correctly that software is not listed for the 60Cx…..I see the other 60’s there but not the x variant……

do I have that correct? Thanks.
