I have set a summer goal to clear a radius around my house and have created a GSAK file, loaded it, and printed a grid to help with my endeavors.
Yeah Sweech ❗
That’s a great activity for this summer.
What radi are you looking at?Unkle SGH & BB

Dejay gave you the only answer that I know of, using the bookmark Macro

I need to remember 💡 to check Clyde’s marco index.
Very helpful.Much appreciated!

Thanks for the response.
What I am looking to do is take a GSAK filter file of some caches I’d like to find and then transfer that to GC for the creation of a Pocket Query.
The GSAK file was formed from opening GPX’s on individual cache pages.I have done the activity of going to GC –> Bookmark –> PQ –> GSAK —> GPSr and load…….
but now I am looking to switch that sequence where I can generate a PQ from a file that I formed from GC by just “opening” up the GPZ file from a cache page.GSAK —-> GC
> Pocket QueryThanks Brian…

What an excellent challenge to complete.
We still talk about all of our great adventures that took place along the way for the 72 counties.
And, you record a milestone to boot!

But you must at least check out BakRdz’s aforementioned “Angel’s Landing” GCG2ZP………..just look at the posted pixs, topo or sat view of this!
Here’s a photo of me at the start of the trail leading from Scouts Landing out to Angels Landing.

If you want to get a look of the trail along the way, this is a great site that shows pics from the trailhead to the final.
The hike to Scouts Landing is doable for most. It’s only the last few hundred yards to Angels Landing that ups the terrain stars.
Jay thanks for sharing that.
Awesome.

I think SGH & BB have been that way, might want to pm them. 🙂
Actually, we will do the Tour de Utah towards the end of summer for a couple of weeks. The BB has three or four bookmark’s going right now.

Or, would you be NUTZ to go up there ❓Listening to BakRdz describe hiking there is a combo of both!

Thanks everyone for the congrats. Retirement IS everything we expected and I hope all of you get to retire on your own terms someday. Every day is a saturday and we try to go caching a couple of days a week on saturday of course. We have finally hauled the last load out of Appleton and are still trying to figure out how to fit a 5 bedroom house with two garages into a cottage less then 1000 sq ft. There will be a huge yard sale at Gail’s Moms house in Pardeeville over Memorial Day weekend. We have lots of other things to keep us occupied, elderly mothers and our family down to our Great Grandson Riley. Life is good. We’ll see you all out on the trail.

We look forward to see you along the trail some time this summer.
And as they say…”never a dull moment”…. 🙂Take care,
SGH & BBWow!
That is a pretty good milestone to hit in less than a year of caching.1,000 finds since August 2009 surpasses our total in the first three years of caching combined.
Yikes ❗………..BTW
Kudos!Happy caching to our Omro neighbor.

Anyway, just as an aside I dont track my FTFs with GSAK since it tends not to be very accurate. What I do, is make a bookmark list titled “FTFs” and just bookmark FTF caches as I find them. This gives me an accurate running tally.
Once you get your current list figured out with the help of GSAK, it would save you time in the future just to bookmark them all and start adding to your list as you go.
zumaVery odd – I’ve never seen GSAK not report them properly. It seems so simple to do in GSAK by clicking the “FTF” check box. The macro builds the lists complete with hyperlinks and Voila.
I guess it’s not that much different in mouse clicks to do the bookmark list, but I’m partial to “single source” data by keeping it all in GSAK.
I would agree CodeJunkie it terms of single source data management to stick with GSAK.
Much simplier. 💡
And besides, what would Clyde think?
He has put a t-o-n of effort and thought into GSAK. 😀SGH
