Also at Wally World they have Ziploc Twist ‘n Loc screw top containers in 2 packs with a bonus small container for about $2. They are different sizes but the ones I got are about the size of a peanut butter jar and are freezer and microwave safe. I assume this means I can use them in any weather condition without problems. A little camo tape or fusion paint and they’re ready to rock.

I was at WalMart a few days ago looking for such a container.
Of course I didn’t find and Lock&Locks (you already knew that) but what I DID find, were some waterproof boxes over in the camping isle.

They are a clear plastic which the manufacture claims to be shatterproof.
2 hinges, 2 latches, and a rubber, watertight seal not unlike an L&L container.

The downside to these containers is that they’re $10 each.

I found these as well and bought one of the smaller ones for $6. After I got it home I saw that it says “do not freeze” on the label. I left it outside to see what would happen and it would not open. I had to pry really hard with my fingers to get it open so I don’t know if they will work. I am going to keep trying with it to see why it sticks so much when it gets cold and if anyone else wants to field test I would appreciate it.
