Back on topic, what the op is trying to say – should the DOT’s ban on rest stop caches apply to road sign caches as well? Yeah I think so. Nuff said.
Though Michigan’s DOT allows caches at their rest stops. So far, I’ve found every cache at a rest stop from Menominee to Marquette on US 41 and M-35. I gotta get the ones on US-2 from Escanaba to St. Ignace yet.
Who knows when Michigan will follow Wisconsin’s lead?
Michigan won’t ban caches in rest stops, InTO worked with the MI DOT. To get them there. Same as in all the state parks too.
is there a WGA4 in the future?
Congrats Dave on the big 5K.

most garmins have the elevation on them, some units its harder to find, might get the phone users to get a GPS unit.
Was watching this morning, and saw some Eyes going by, and a sturgeon also, we are planning on heading to the shiocton area on sunday to do a bit of caching, and see the stugeon run.
you know what the significance to Beverly and Mingo are and what states they are in
Well it does not show up on my profile correctly, but our first cache was a lil otter cache here in Mountain on 7/31/04. It is still active, as it was adopted to us back on 8/9/07. has had 143 finds since it was placed back in 02.
you can check out any of our hides, we have about 80 of them across the NE part of the state.

After watching “Super Size Me” a few years ago, have not stopped at a McBarfy’s since. We might stop for a breakfast sandwich while out, but usually grab something from a grocery store, or find a family restaurant for lunch and dinner
We spent the day in Green Bay, Went to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary for better than half the day, found one cache on our way up to Wequiock Falls for some sightseeing. Then to the dreaded Grocery Store for our weekly shoppin trip.
