yes it was, lorriebird is a commercial pilot from Florida
I think Views and Ideas are more important than the numbers, The amount of finds a person has should not be a issue when running for the BOD. In my opinion, even years geocaching should not be a issue either. If you enjoy the sport and want to help to promote and support it in our state that should be all that matters

PACKERS WIN SUPER BOWL
Have never had one, but have geocached with people that have had them, Actually both units are very good. There seemed to be a bit of a learning curve with it, but I did like the unit. I do like the touch screen of the 550 though, less buttons means less chance of water sneaking in the unit. I have used the unit in the rain with no problems.
Everyone has their own favorite Delorme vs. Garmin is like the Packers vs. Bears.
I never bought maps for my Garmin,

Worldwide routeable maps to download free. I have over 1/2 of the US on my 550 on the SD card, and still have plenty of room to add more.
My vote would be for the 550 also, but I would not spend the extra on the Terrain Maps, unless you do a boatload of mountain climbing, you can download free maps (routable) that I think are great.
that little squeek is the money you saved from switching to Garmin.
As far as I can remember these are the challenge caches that we have completed:
GC1HMCJ – WSQ – Shawano County Cemetery (SCC) Challenge
GC1XKGZ – Wisconsin Falling Waters Challenge
GC15WT3 – Badger State Challenge – 72 Counties
GCXPZR – Wisconsin Delorme Challenge
GCR7WQ – Linda’s Cache Michigan UP
GCR7T4 – Linda’s Cache Michigan LP
GCR7WR – Linda’s Cache all of MichiganI think this is it, and of this list, I would have to say that the Falling Waters Challenge was my favorite, We started out searching for waterfalls using a GPS a year before we started Geocaching, then after that we returned to some of the greatest places in Wisconsin, to take more pictures and sign the logbook. Sometimes the cache was just feet from us during our first visit.
Even though the Falling Waters was our favorite, Each one of the above was special to us in some way or another.
I would definitely support the direction that the WGA has been heading.
But I would also like to see:
1. I would like to see the WGA events move more around the state and get into the north woods,
2. I would also like to start a “pathtag creation contest” that we could have sold directly on the Geocoin club page other organizations do this for extra funds with nothing out of pocket for us. Ive seen others have up to 4 fundraisers a year like this.

3. I also have a few other ideas that if elected would like to see come to light
you cut which ever one you want, ill stay back and watch from a distance, someone has to dial 911
Upon accepting the nomination, I have already agreed to work hard for the WGA and its members for the entire 24 months. Working with any group or committee requires give and take. I can guarantee that I will be there working for the membership for the full 2 years
When we go out caching, we usually leave the house at the drop of the hat, Most of my weekends are long weekends, so we head out on Thursday night, come home sunday, Some weekends are 100+, some are less than 20 depends on where we head to with the camper. We have never set a limit on the minimum or maximum that we want to find, we would rather enjoy the areas that caching brings us too.
I’m sure that any bar in Green Bay will do, pick any one. Packers are gonna loose to the Bears anyway so im sure there will be empty stools
Fu,
Nickels are too small, Pathtags are 1mm smaller than a quarter
