Have always had Garmin’s Started with a GPS12 then upgraded to a GPS72, and finally Have the Oregon 550.
In the car we have a Nuvi200.
on the I90 havent checked on it yet, but think that I only need one or two states. the I94 only need one cache a eastbound Minnesota.
I take and bookmark my FTF’s like Zuma does, but then when I want to update my stats, just run a Bookmark PQ and upload that to my FTF database in GSAK. Then after running a my finds query, copy the entire FTF database into the my finds data base.
seems like lots of steps, but is rather easy.
In the days of electronics, you would think they would have a digital copy. most new gps’s would hold both the maps and the trailguide.
most GPS’s have 2 limits, our 550 will hold 5000 caches or 20 GPX file. if you are loading them one at a time, that is considered a single GPX file and maybe why you are overwriting them.
Have never played with a PN-30 but would assume there are the same limits in place in those also.
😀 Congrats Rod, been there for a few smileys with you
As of now the plan is for a weekend of camping.
VIRTUAL LOGGING there is a way to easily get a trackable locked permanently

Congrats Rob and Lori on the big 2000
Cheesehead, you just have to run to the pet store and get the fronline for humans, put some on the nape of your neck and on your spine by your beltline, but you have to repeat this every month. LOL
