Well, did not make it to Memphis. Our dog Buddy ended up getting a broken leg in a auto accident by our house. He is at Fox Valley Animal hospital recuperating from a 2 hour surgery this morning. If all is well he gets to go home in the morning.

If the deer tags are all filed up by then I may take a geo-trip on Black Friday. Anything to stay clear of the stores. Last time I went caching on Black Friday I had to make a quick stop at the Target in Stevens Point to buy a pen because I lost mine. Now I keep a supply in Big Red.
did you at least get a deal on the pens?
Val and I are heading South, how far depends on when the thermometer on the dash gets above 50 degrees. Hoping that will happen around the Memphis area. But if we have to go farther south we will.
it will be nice and warm at the hotel. what ever week it is
White Eagle,
Not sure why you are having the log in problems, I see on your profile it says WGA Member. If the website keeps giving you problems, contact [email protected]
Welcome to Geocaching and the WGA. Its great to have another cacher in the Northwoods. We are from Mountain (Practically Neighbors) There are some great caches in the area for you to find.
If you need some help on something, shoot me a email

I have a few ready to be put out, just have been waiting for the right time.
Later when you want to delete the caches out of the GPS.
The caches are no longer sent in a .gpx format, they are now sent as .ggz
You will just have to delete the PQ from the ggz folder. Any caches that you load directly from GC one at a time still will be in the gpx folder.
and BTW you can load unlimited caches into the Oregon 600 series using the ggz format. I have loaded my Unfound Wisconsin caches into my 650 (24,000 +) and did not notice any slowdown
Click on GPS on the top row,
First Select on Setup: Select Garmin and Oregon 600.
Close window
Click on GPS again,
Select Send Waypoints
Go Caching, its that easy.
not sure if it can be done, but can you load a GPX file on a phone, could set it up in GSAK then load it in.

Have used these in our 550 in the states and they worked great, they even are route-able in the US, not sure if they work in Europe that way
it will be a toasty 65 at site 30
less than 4 months Todd, they expire at the end of the year
