I tried the other Nuvi Macro (abov) and have the same problem. I run the Macro and GSAK shuts down. When I re-open GSAK I have to “repair” it. I’m trying to figure out if it’s my CA Security Suite settings? I don’t think so though.

I’m having the same problem.
I left this message on the GSAK forums
“Ever since downloading the latest version of GSAK (7.5.2.27) my Nuvi Macro is no longer working. When I click on it GSAK just automatically shuts itself down.
I’ve tried uninstalling everything and re-installing all of the programs required per the instructions on pilotsnipes but the same problem exists. It worked flawlessly prior to this newest version of GSAK.
Is there a way to fix this issue or a place to download an older Version 7?
I love this feature and can’t imagine not being able to use my Nuvi anymore as a geocaching assist.

Welcome Jerry…I just purchased a motorcycle and have started doing a bit of caching on it as well. Those two things go quite well together I’ve found.
I’ve from the SE part of the state (Racine) but am slowly working my way up that way.
You should also look into the West Bend Cache Ba$h GC1KZHZ
It looks like that event might achieve MEGA status soon.

Wow, what a bunch of great information. After doing “Where Did I Park My Car” GC7F54 yesterday, between the 3 of us I bet we picked off 30 ticks at least. I can’t wait to try permethrin. Did someone say you can pick it up at Wally World ❓

I’ve submitted the request to the wife and should have word very soon on whether or not this will be a go. tom k. and I are going to try to come with the pop-up for the whole weekend.
Looks like Lake Lenwood or Timber Trail are my choices for camping.
That would be awesome if this was a MEGA EVENT. I’ll try to get some more atendees from the Belle City (Racine)area. 😀

I remember taking part in this last year with MosquitoMagnets. I think we had trouble with the last cache too. I also remember searching around a fire station for entirely too long. Not sure if we’ll make it again this year or not. I think it’s a working weekend for the wife.
