Fred is great! Always easy to deal with and always sends a few extra nickels.
Anyone know how to contact these people? The web link doesn’t work
If you like puzzles the Oshkosh/Fox Cities is the place to be! Plenty of them around here.
Welcome to the fun – hope to meet you on the trails someday.
This sounds like a lot of fun. To bad we will be coming back from WY on the 15th of Aug. Since it’s a 17 hour drive I don’t think we will make it. Take lots of pictures for us.
Really neat accomplishment!
Bring us along when you do Texas or Alaska.
A picture like that has GOT to make you smile!

Allie, you go girl. If there is anything we can do to help you out, let us know.
And, Happy Birthday!!!
300 HIDES!!! That is an incredible milestone, more impressive than finds. If it weren’t for people like you, we would not have hides to find.
Thank you, and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Yeah Skip the wooden nickels They went over like lead ballons…..lol
Yeah, but I keep finding them is caches all over the Fox Cities! It is fun to be reminded of the event when I find a wooden nickel.
The Field of Dreams is in Dyersville, about 35 west of Dubuque, and the rail car mentioned is, I think, the 9th street elevator – fun to ride up and down that thing!
10 miles from Dubuque, there is a virtual cache in Dickeyville WI, “Dickeyville Grotto” GCGAXY that is a neat place to visit.
The worlds largest “M” is just outside of Platteville (20 miles from Dubuque). Don’t know if you will see it with any snow cover, but there is a cache nearby.
Belmont WI (5 miles further) has the “First Capital State Park” another historic place to visit.
Way to go! How caches fly when you are having fun.
We went to “BODIES… The Exhibition” (http://www.tropicanalv.com/ent_bodies.asp) at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.
It was fascinating. After we saw ads for the exhibition in Milwaukee we considered going again.
Sorry, I can’t help you out here. Fleet Farm has been a dependable supplier for Team Bear Bear’s ammo can hides in the Fox Cities.
As an alternate supply source: We have picked up ammo cans at gun shows and outdoor sporting events. We found them at a competitive $5 for the 50 cal. And $3 for the 30 cal. cans. And they were in great condition – no rust, good seals etc.
Good luck.
