Way to go Benny! Nice caching with ya on our way to 500. Thanks for the help
He could Hop Hop Hop along and get it on Saturday – but not the kind of hide/excitement he wanted for a milestone. The DNR asked us to wait to place the one we had in mind.

I’m sorry, we have 2600 REGISTERED USERS!!!! Still a milestone and one to be proud of.
Thanks all for joining in!

100, 200, 300 there’s no stopping you now! Way to go!
We are semi sorta kinda maybe interested. Is this the Midwest Tandem Rally? Robin & I ride a Wizwheelz tandem and have done a few RAGBRAI’s too. We are doing an (event) presentation in about a month (Intro to Geocaching GC10NHZ). We’re COW’s too (unless we expired??? Not sure about that).
I really got to check with Robin before we volunteer anything, not sure what that weekend holds for us.

We could adopt both the Northbound (listed at .55 miles) AND Southbound Lanes (listed at .36 miles). We’d get signs on both sides of the highway and kill two birds with one stone as long as we’re there.
Thoughts?
I think this segment(s) would be very convenient and high profile.
Centrally located with many meeting places nearby.
This spot gets my/our vote – and our help!

How about a stick figure lifting up the edge of a tent to find a film can?
God I love the diversity of this group!!! Some are out to get as many caches as they can, others aim to do only a few, but make them high quality caches. Some cache one on a lunch hour, others want to go out for 24 hours straight!
Robin & I have done 99 in a day – our “best day ever” (number wise – and yes, it was the BoB series). A normal weekend day of caching is 7 or 8. We have too many bad backs, sore hips, twisted ankles etc for us to do more than that.
When we cache with others the distraction of going with a group enables us to do more than usual, and it’s a lot more fun in a group.

If one was keeping score as if this was a professional sport, then signing the log would be a must, it proves you were there. If the hider wanted to dispute your find, your “signature” is the proof. One could (and probably will) argue that some logs get full or are too wet to sign – that’s the cache owners problem because he has the responsibility to maintain the cache. He couldn’t (or shouldn’t) deny you the find because he failed to do proper maintenance.

That’s splitting hairs.
One could argue that you “Take” the log (out) and “Leave” it when you replace it. Therefore by signing the log you’ve met all three requirements.
I expect that the whole thing with trinkets in the cache was done as a reward or incentive during the inception of the sport. When was the last time you took something from a cache??? Robin & I look through the cache “prizes” but rarely take anything. About the only time we trade items is when my 9 year old son is along.
Chris
What a cool coin. Thanks for sharing that with us.
We couldn’t have not gotten wet without Justin. Thanks guys. Can’t believe it’s been a year. I remember a year ago it was about 56 degrees out.
Good Job!
