I’m not sure I understand the question ‘Nae.
Nametags have already been set up… Just needed a registration end date.
A TON of Will Attends (forgot the number) or past mega status, or after the fact with 500 people attending.
Can be requested here…
Night Caches!
At an event I hosted (not geocaching), I had, for lack of a better name, a reverse photo scavenger hunt. I started with a picture of a prominent landmark in the park we were in. At the land mark was a small container with another picture of another landmark, etc. Some of the pictures included hints (arrows) pointing to where the container was hidden… Like a multi without any coords.
Even in a small city park, it was a lot of fun. In a larger state park, I think it would be a blast, and keep people occupied and exploring the park for quite some time.I know that the guided tour was a bit of a bust last year, but I think that was because it wasn’t communicated to the attendees well enough. From what I’ve seen, every state park in Wisconsin has enough history and/or geography to easily keeps anyone interested in these things occupied for a while. I still contend that this is something that should be pursued at every campout event.
Photo contest with a specific theme. One picture that best portrays _______________.
Published and there is a link to the store. There is no store yet.
The motel link is for St. Croix Falls.
The WGA logo really should be on the page.
Otherwise, it looks pretty familiar…Thirty is probably a good average. No way to “guess” how many will show up any given year.
Since this is a campout, doesn’t it make sense to encourage members to actually camp? Doubling the price from previous years doesn’t seem like a good way to do that. There are a mix of families, singles and couples. Average per tent is usually closer to 2.
What I should have said is that the DNR frowns on re-selling the sites for a profit. We can cover our costs, but $10 X 30 tents X 2 nights = $600.
$10/night? Just FYI, we aren’t supposed to make a profit.
Per Site limits: 20 people, 1 car
Sounds like a clown act.
Nice, Sandylanders! The Thread Stealers’ Holy Trinity!
Congrats on the out of country milestone!
Congrats on 1K!
Probably, but that’s a BOD thing. 😉
There will NOT be snow. There will NOT be rain. But, since that can’t always be guaranteed, a 30X20 tarp is pretty cheap.
Bluewater Bay Shelter for sure. We’ve never needed tarps for open shelters before, but it might be something to look into, even though it’s NOT going to rain this year.
They can if they want. All they need to do is ask.
