OK, I got the map uploaded, but I’m not sure it is working right, as I am trying a new program (since I lost my Google Maps key and don’t seem to be able to generate another). Can someone try it out and make sure that the map works?
If the problem is logs, you can remove the offending logs from your GSAK database. Just right click on the log, select delete logs, and check the ones you need to remove.
OK, after a bit of negotiation with the Communist party, I managed to get the report form updated. Unfortunately, it looks like I wiped out the rules, etc. on the front page. Hopefully Brian can fix. The map will still have to wait until I am on US soil. Have fun all!
You are misreading the puzzle. You need to to 3 consecutive waypoint projections for that one, not just the last one.
I suppose the answer is yes. It is not exactly wearing out, but it is always possible for a circuit board to go bad. I would suggest you try a hard reset (allow the settings to go back to factory settings as well), and see if it gets better. If not, contact Garmin support, but my guess is that you can buy a new etrex for less than it will cost to fix the one you have.
I’m thinking maybe your home coordinates changed on one of the accounts.
Incidentally, it doesn’t seem to be working. Even after authorizing, I still don’t get a smile icon on the caches I have found on the cache rescue list.

I thought Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties also require fees.
Sigh. No, that is not true, although Milwaukee county can get a bit picky where they will allow a cache.
That is not correct. Brown county considered a fee but chose not to have a permitting process at all. Only Dane County requires a fee for processing the permit.
By the way, I thought those articles were going into the newsletter.?
Eventually I will cover that rule. (Hopefully there isn’t anything about that in the commercial/agenda guideline.) The short answer is that those sorts of “pay it forward” designs resulted in a lot of “film can thrown by the side of the road” caches placed by people who really didn’t want to place caches, but had to fulfill the ALR requirement to log a find.
Just export a CSV file and open the file in Excel.
The reality is that much of the time the cache will have changed since the prior finder found it. I did one recently where a peanut butter jar was replaced by toothbrush travel carrier by some “good samaritan”. When i spotted it, I thought it was just trash, but when I opened it, there was a log inside with maybe 4 finders.

So Question on this –
Does a Rescue get listed for all archives? The only reason I ask is recently TBB went through and archived quite a few – not sure if they were all missing anyway or what but How do we know they are gone?
Other than rescues posted by the cache owner, the only other rescues are posted when a reviewer archives a listing that appears to still be in place. If the cache was archived for being disabled too long, and no one found it after it was disabled, we assume the CO took care of removing it.
