Nope, no way to determine that. This is a specific design decision by Groundspeak. If you don’t like it, well, email your complaint to Groundspeak!

I understand the parks in Greenfield, Indiana are pretty nice…

As a reviewer, I would echo TDSC’s comments. I would suggest that you create a new cache and archive the multi. If you don’t want finders of the multi to find your “new” traditional, you can indicate this in the cache listing. If you INSIST on converting the existing cache from a multi to a traditional, we can do this for you, but it is not recommended.

FYI, they have a local cacher submitting some of their caches. I published a couple tonight.

Maybe I’m just dense, but I don’t see the point. I vote “ne”.

For those who might not have figured it out, you can make the “needs maintenance” attribute go away by posting an “owner maintenance” log to the cache.

You need to learn “the new English” called HTML. Actually, if you DON’T check the “These fields contain HTML” box, you can just type normally with paragraph breaks and such and it will work just fine. BUT, if you check the HTML box for any reason, you have to write the whole thing in HTML, including the short description. So, either you have to learn HTML or you have to forgo adding pictures, links, fancy formatting, etc, to your cache pages. The good news is that for paragraphs, it is easy. Just start your paragraph with

    and end it with

    and Voila! Paragraphs!

Quite frankly, I’m a little shocked that you would consider friend to be a pejorative term. Rather than look at dictionary definitions, why not look at the by laws and read how a WGA Friend is defined? Personally, I’m happy to be a friend to as many people as possible, but maybe that’s just me…

I have to admit that when I saw all those caches disabled/archived, my first thought was that TPTB at Groundspeak had found some way to push Ray “over the edge”. 😛

Please take care of yourself and get yourself well. (If you get well quick, you can join us in our quest to find all the 1 star terrain caches in a 100 mile radius!) We see you back on the trails when you are well.

in reply to: Large ammo cans selling around Madison? #1879680

If you REALLY want a big ammo box, they have a grenade launcher ammo box at Sherper’s in Hales Corners. (I think it is same box that has been there since I started going there.) This thing is like 36x30x12. Maybe this would be good for a “large print” book exchange?

in reply to: Caching & Pizza Nov 8 #1879734

I’m afraid I won’t quite be up to this level of terrain that early in November. I’ll still be in a protective boot at that time. Right now Julie and I are going for the all time record of “Most Terrain 1 caches found in a row”. Count me in for the next one though!

And, if you have already ignored it, the Ignore list is not just conceptual. It is an actual bookmark list on your account. Look at your bookmark lists and you will find one called Ignore list. You can open it up and look at the caches on it, watch them, remove them from the list, etc.
